  • Hi guys  sorry I haven't been around to share the ups and downs with you all. Life gets in the way and sometimes I just can't face talking but I've been keeping a eye on you all. Well done guys

warez22 you are doing so well, so upbeat and positive its fantastic to see. I know you are in a bit of a funk at the moment, but it will pass I promise. I went through a period of looking at people who were smoking and feeling real jealous. But it does pass and the other day I was walking into town and passed someone smoking and thought "I'm so glad I don't do that any more!" :T I have no doubt with all you strategies and positive self talk you will get through this patch very quickly

Dave sorry that you are having a rough time of it right now. I know how that feels as when I give up its like being ripped away from something and I generally have a few false starts. What I found was just being bloody pig headed and stubborn got me through and now 4 1/2 months in its so much easier. Please just try to take it one craving at a time. You don't have to give up in total just not smoke the next one, and if you get through that then possibly the next and see how you do. Its hard and the first day or two is really hard so just take it one step at a time. Come on here when you are overwhelmed with urges and someone will be there for you.

Kiwi fantastic news on 2 years that's amazing and if anyone can do it Sparticus.... :rotfl: very happy for you its a fantastic achievement :T

annablle just wanted to give you a massive congratulation. I have been very impressed with your quit. It hasn't been easy for you but you have shown a quiet determination which I reckon makes you a force to be reckoned with! Your girls must be so proud of you x

I've lost all my enthusiasm for quitting at the moment, genuinely feeling rotten today, so miserable :(

The benefits of quitting far outweigh the non-existent list of benefits of continuing, but it's so hard being physically addicted to something that does you so much harm - both mentally and physically.

I know part mouse I was exactly the same earlier but u get through it , you need to let the tears flow , eventually they will stop ,but untill then let them flow Hun . Just think of it as cleansing all that nicotine out your system , stick with it pm x
