  • Good luck anablle! I'm sure you will be fine, hopefully work will be real busy and take your mind off it. I take it you're going cold turkey? The best way I say a couple of days of everything and then you are free.

Good luck, come on here for a vent as and when you need to.

    Excellent decision x

Can I ask a perfectly valid question? Am I not welcome on this thread? I just wondered after the misunderstandings that we've had lately that I've tried to clear up with the board mods but had no response from :(

    Hello Erme,

Firstly, you were definitely not slated on here, determined answered you with a post that was just truthful and I back her up whole-heartedly!

I'm sorry, but the rules of this thread are that we do not cater for those using hand-held devices; if you read the first post you will know that this is the case. Therefore this is not the thread for you, so I suggest you go to a forum that will happily help you.

Further than this I do not and will not enter into any other discussion with you as I will not have others who are stopping smoking, in the only ways this thread permits, upset when they are at crucial stages of stopping.

    Best wishes, Sue.

Hi annablle and a very warm welcome to you!

I see that ny now you will be choosing not to smoke! A marvellous idea which you should be so happy and so proud about as it's just about the best decision you'll ever make in your life!

Please read through the PM I've sent as there is a lot there to help you; even if you're using patches the tips should be applied as it'll make it all far easier for you, but especially after finishing with the patches.

Your DD's Wedding should be really great motivation to help you and money will be far better spent!

As determined says, please give vent on the thread, even the act of typing it all out will help get things freed from your system. Do please let us know how today goes for you and don't forget to praise yourself highly for each passing hour that you get through, you'll be doing remarkably well to do that. :)

Wishing you ALL the very best.

    Sue x
