Sorry haven't posted sooner! Time flies! :o

Have been reading the thread, it's a shame that Zara needed the op at such a young age. :( But having watched the Bionic Vet, I reckon she must have had the best treatment available in the UK - possibly the world!

So hope that both Zara's and your recovery go as well as possible and that in the meantime the kitties are keeping you both entertained to make things more beareable! ;)

    Take Care xx

Got a problem, the sticker on her tablets bottle said 40 tablets but there were in fact only 22 (!!!!).

Only realised today as bottle looked like it does not have enough in it so poured them out and counted - 10 left in the bottle. As I am giving her 2 twice per day so only used 12 so far (Sat, Sun, today) and 10 in the bottle so 22 so 18 tablets are missing....

Emailed FR asking them to send the remaining ones... hope they arrive on time
  • GR what was the date on the bottle? - does it say something like "2 x twice daily for xx days"?

Just wondering if the missing 18 could've been used in the time between her op and you collecting her?

What a misearable wether,.... rain rain and more rain... slippery on the stairs for wet paws, struggle to get back in up, really have to hold her well...... and so much longer to go, poor Zara :(

When we do go out, she grabs her ball and tries to head towards the fields but she is only allowed literrally 5 minutes outside so not very happy..

Still, she is such a good girl in that cage. Hope all will be worth it in the end and she WILL be able to run around with her ball with no pain on her new bionic legs ;)
  • Ohhhhh keeping everything crossed for her too xx

Could you keep a dry mop handy to give the stairs a quick mop down before you take her up and down?

Zara will love you heaps when she finally goes out playing and realises it doesn't hurt to run :)

I am so glad she is doing well :)

It breaks my heart to see Tyson when he is struggling to walk. It is lovely when he is feeling good though, he bounces around like a puppy :) The good days are a lot more frequent than the bad days at the moment thankfully

Stairs are dry - Zara's paws are wet and that makes it slippery.. and she got such furry paws.... I am struggling as it is holding on to her lead/collar on one end and the sling that goes under her belly on her other end.. done few interesting yoga positions today while pickig up the poo.. believe me, that was interesting... I need like extra hand or two..LOL

    Is Tyson on Metacam?

Have you seen The Bionic Vet?

Noel Fitzpatric sees cases where regular vets can not do anything so refer to him - he is a miracle worker...
