My mil gave me two double duvet sets, which is great as we needed some new ones. They look really nice too.

My dad gave me a punnet of strawberries, and in exchange I gave him some home grown broad beans.

    same here :)

but................ this morning a neighbour has just given me 8 stale rolls :rotfl: she didn't want to throw them out for the birds as she thinks she saw a rat yesterday, she didn't want to just throw them in the bin and so thought I might like them - I don't know whether to be amused, grateful or offended :D

Anyway, looks like I might make some bread pudding today!

I'm a giver rather more than a taker but I do get some things given now and then - very much appreciated I will say.

Yesterday I gave my DD some cherries and she gave me a HUGE slice of cake that she'd been given for her sons!

Hmm, not really sure if it was because she didn't want it sitting on her hips or just because she wanted to give it to us! ;)

My daughter was given a 'freebie' bag on Saturday at our local charity gala when she entered her babies into the baby show. In it was a discount voucher for a nearby play gym. She went to the play gym yesterday - only to find out that the voucher expired last year!
