A neighbour has moved, before going he gave us 6 edging slabs to go down the side of the drive plus an old sink for plants
  • My DS had a friend for a sleepover and he gave me a tub of popping corn to make them a "snack" while watching a DVD! First time I'd ever cooked it on the hob - great fun! :D

OH bought me a saliva from Mr T.

The other day I had a £3 voucher from Lakeland so bought myself a lovely Jubilee 'knitted flag' mug.

As they were buy one get on half price I bought another to give to my friend who was with me.

I hope it's a BIG pan, coz I had to quickly grab another and transfer some over - it was funny! They had it with icing sugar sprinkled over and I've had the leftovers tonight with salt and lots of ground black pepper - yummy! PS: Hope I managed to do the quote above OK??

Not today but during the week my OH came home with two packs of chocolate brownie mix, I gave my next door neighbour one pack. The following day he gave me tomatoes which were going a bit soft and his bf wouldn't eat. I made a roasted tomato sauce with them :D His bf got me some smoked paprika at the supermarket and refused to take the money for it. :(

I've been popping corn like a maniac recently as I'm trying to cure my addiction to crisps!

Two fav' flavourings so far are: salt, sugar and cinnamon and garlic, smoked paprika and salt.

Tip the popcorn into a large bag (I used a carrier bag). pour two teaspoons or less of oil. I used olive oil. Shake that bag like there's no tomorrow then shake it some more. Add the salt and shake again add the sugar and shake then add the cinnamon and shake and shake.

For the garlic, smoked paprika and salt I used squeezy garlic from a tube and added that to the oil before doing the shakey thing. Added the paprika shook again and then the salt, yet more shaking!:rotfl:

Remember you can always add more flavouring but you cant remove it.

today I have been picked up to be taken to a concert
Had two glasses of Pimms at the concert because my mate bought a jug (which was cheaper than the glasses)
had wine at the friends house who lived nearest the concert (we parked there - this town doesn't usually host huge events so we got the expected traffic chaos)
and the rest of the wine to bring home because she doesn't drink white wine
    and a lift home

and Elton - you were so g-o-o-o-o-o-o-d
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY
