Hello, hope everyone had a lovely weekend. There are a lot of generous people around :-) I got given a lot of hospitality as I went away for the weekend.
And Vanoonoo, in homage to you I gave away a pack of pens. I got given a bottle of lovely cold water from the cafe on Friday when I treated myself to a brekkie which I thought was lovely. I also coveted a colleagues snack tub at work (it had a pink lid what can i say) and got given that too.Littlewoods £10 Very BNPL £234.42

I got given a cup of tea and a cake in a local charity shop.
I'd popped in to buy a top and got chatting and the manager mentioned their phone hadn't worked in weeks. I had a quick look -popped to PC shop for a new microfilter -lovely man in there wouldn't take payment as it was for a charity he supported-then spent half an hour getting through to BT for them and getting an engineer out (Half an hour !! Glad MY phone is with Sky !).... and son is going to pop in to see them about maybe doing some volunteering for them. Got home............and the top didn't fit :rotfl::rotfl:I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

@ Betty - you had pens and didnt give them to me *shocked*
i got given a gorgeous afternoon of food and entertainment on sunday - we went to visit my inlaws and our little nephew was there keeping us all amused with his antics between the paddling pool, slide and sandpit - he's only just started walking so was staggering around like a zombie all afternoon. my bro in law did a wonderful bbq and my sis in law made an amazing pavlova and vic sponge, we took the rolls for the burgers and sausages, soft drinks and our first harvest of rhubarb along with a bag of clothes for my nephew that I got from a friend last week. this giving and receiving really does go round and round and roundBlah0 -
