Well my week didn't end any better than last. Had my what seems to be regular run in with HIM, shortly after arriving in office. You would think that with my having been unwell this week HIS 1st comment would be along the lines of, "nice to have you back, are you feeling better" Oh no, to behave like that HE would have to have a modicum of human understanding, which HE is clearly lacking.
Meeting started like this, "1st off, I don't like......."
Then, "I don't think this is right....."
Ended on, "Try again, you may just get it right......"
Honestly, how I didn't punch HIS lights out I'll never know, I have sworn like a trooper for most of the day and when not swearing I've been banging my head on my desk
Old boss gave me a hug, "because I looked like I needed one"
Friend/colleague gave me a bottle of wine, for much the same reason and best colleague in the world went through my bothersome report from last week in an attempt to both make sense and still fit in partially with what HE was asking for.
I came home wishing I was a bear that could hibernate all winter.
Told HIM that I found HIM really difficult to work with, that nothing we do for HIM is right, that HE never acknowledges good work and to be completely honest I wondered why I did any work at all, as I know all HE's going to do is rubbish it. HE found it funny, I nearly blew a gasket.
All I can say is thank goodness I'm not in until Tuesday and don't actually have to see HIM until at least Friday and maybe not until the Friday after. I will still have to deal with HIM remotely but at least I don't have to see HIM.
Not a nsd as ended up buying pasta, £2, for lunch as fancied it after stressful meeting. Nearly bought chocolate but didn't, which felt good. Nearly drank wine when I got home but then realised I'd only feel even more maudlin, so decide against it. OH actually was not drunk when I got home which was a real blessing as I really couldn't have coped this evening.
Going out tomorrow to buy present for DGN who is getting christened in 2 weeks. Presents for DS and DDIL2B came today and they are fantastic, really pleased.
I intend to have a good weekend although at the moment I've nothing in particular planned.
Off to find something to amuse me, be back soon

All too rarely, airline attendants make an effort to make the in-flight "safety lecture", and their other announcements a bit more entertaining.
Here are some real examples that have been heard or reported:
1. On a Continental Flight with a very "senior" flight attendant crew, the pilot said, "Ladies and gentlemen, we've reached cruising altitude and will be turning down the cabin lights. This is for your comfort, and to enhance the appearance of your flight attendants."
2. On landing the stewardess said, "There may be 50 ways to leave your lover, but there are only 4 ways out off this plane."
3. As the plane landed and was coming to a stop at Washington National, a lone voice came over the loudspeaker: "Whoa, big fella.
WHOA!"
4. After a particularly rough landing during thunderstorms in Memphis, a flight attendant on a Northwest flight announced, "Please take care when opening the overhead compartments because, after a landing like that, sure as hell everything has shifted."
5. "In the event of a sudden loss of cabin pressure, masks will descend from the ceiling. Stop screaming, grab the mask, and pull it over your face. If you have a small child travelling with you, secure your mask before assisting with theirs. If you are travelling with more than one small child, pick your favourite."

hi granny did you crack open your wine?
No decided it wasn't a good idea as I was already feeling glum. Going to drink it tonight instead, now where did I leave Pinot's glass when she called around?
HBS, don't worry she's in the states so it wasn't really 3am

I have been extremely lazy this morning and have only just got up. Then again I didn't go to bed until after 1am last night, stressing about money and didn't want to wake up this morning to face it.
Yesterday was a nsd and I'm hoping today is too.
Went for pizza with OH and used t3sco points meal deals vouchers. I only drank tap water and he had a bottle of beer. He paid £6 cash, for beer and tip and the meal was lovely. It was nice to have him home for a change on a Saturday morning.
I'm a bit annoyed with him though as I'm struggling financially this month with the cost of things for the wedding and so far he hasn't offered to help at all. I've tried dropping hints but think unless I use a sledge hammer he's not going to get it, so I'm going to have to ask for money. I need to pick DD up from the airport on 27th and don't get paid until 31st. Airport is 160 miles away so it'll cost a fair bit, which I don't have so he's going to have to fill my car up. My mum wanted me to go and see her before wedding so I can help her with her outfit but as its near the airport I will have to do it then as I can't afford to go once, let alone twice.
I have no money to do nails or hair either, although not essential I want to look my best for DS wedding and need all the help I can get. It's annoying because OH has done so much o/t in the last couple of months but I don't see the benefit of it, well not unless it's something he deems necessary.
All my bills are paid this month but I am already overdrawn and with only £140 left of my overdraft and no money in my purse, I'm worried its not going to be enough. I would also prefer not to use it if I can. So it is likely that I'll have a few nsd this month as I've got no money to spend.
He bought our DGN a lovely present yesterday for his Christening next week. (He's on his side of the family rather than mine) How come he can spend for him but not for my DS who he has bought up since he was 6? Gosh it makes my blood boil at times, not that I resent the present for DGN, just the unfairness of it.
Anyway seeing DGDs this afternoonTargets
