The only drawback to Shellac nails is you have to pay to have them soaked off. You can peel them off yourself but it does remove the top layers of nail  I found them quite drying on my nails and it left them very brittle, but that could be just my nails.

Your outfit sounds lovely and it's so nice that you love the dress so much, you will get plenty of wear out of it!

Apparently, if you scratch the [STRIKE]service [/STRIKE] surface off the shellac they will then soak off with acetone remover. However, I don't think I'm going to bother after all as I'm quite good at painting my own nails if they are in a good condition and if they are not, no amount of shellac is going to make them look any better. I'd then have to resort to stick on nails which are in danger of popping off if not careful and with dress tight, each time I go to the toilet that may happen. :rotfl:

My nails are awful a lot of the time because I don't look after them properly. I wash dishes in hot water without gloves, I forget to put hand cream on, I forget to wear gloves in cold weather and I pick at my cuticles when stressed, which is a lot of the time. The only thing I don't do is bite them but that's because they are never normally long enough. :o I'm going to really concentrate on looking after them this month as that is long enough to turn them around. :D

I love my dress :heartsmil but sadly its not a style I'll get a lot of wear out of. It's a maxi length, flowy and glitzy patchwork silk dress with bustier top. If I could find a picture of it, I'd show you.
    :xmastree:

Just tried it on for OH to see me in all my finery with makeup and hair done too, loose and glossy, (as really don't think I can afford to have it done professionally). Only thing missing was earrings and tights because I couldn't be ars3d to fuss with them. Even tried the little jacket from yesterday with it and now I'm not too sure, may keep it for a bit until I see if I can find something else or ask DDIL2B for her opinion, pity DD isn't home in time as I have to send it back within 2 weeks, (annoying). OH loved everything except jacket done up, said it looked better undone and I'm worried it looks too small that way. He wowed over my dress and my facinator. :happylove

I am feeling much better thank you both. Managed to eat a roll at lunch today. Having cheese pasta for tea, something light and filling.

Missrlr, I wouldn't be impressed with that - hope you manage to get out early after being there at that time.

Giggles, how did the interview go? Well I hope.

HE has made a real nuisance of HIMSELF in work apparently. HE asked colleague how she found working for HIM. I told her I would have said exceedingly difficult, to which she laughed as that is exactly what she told HIM. HE has to do a back to work interview for me tomorrow, I'm so hoping HE asks me the same question :rotfl:

    NSD #2 today.

PAD of £1.16 made to Arg0s, rounding down bank, they are going to love me this month. Every little helps and I usually round up my payments to Predators not part of DMP which is silly as once interest is charged balance is not round anymore. Makes me feel better though but really annoys me when not easy to round. eg balance is £x36.12, I want to pay £x6.12, minimum to pay is £x7.24. :rotfl: I think I need to get a life - maybe new way of PAD payments will sort this out.

Should be able to do a signature update in the next couple of days, once all statements in and checked. Have spent on baby stuff over the last month though so not expecting a great reduction, still being positive, it's a reduction and that's what matters.

Sorry folks, rambling to myself a bit there. Off to paint my nails a nice firey red now in attempt to get them all pretty and neat before 31st Oct, only 27 days to go.

Any payment is a good payment! I find if you have any cod liver oil or vit d or vit e capsules then pierce one and rub onto bare nails then sleep to let soak in, massage of cuticles helps loads too. I keep a coat of clear on mine to help with drying out, I can "do" my nails in under a minute now so when it looks a bit rubbish just take off then reapply and if I feel enthusiastic I spend longer massaging moisturiser and so on.

Not a funny tonight guys as this story is getting to me as I'm sure it is others.

    72066_10151034205300755_835374087_n.jpg

What those poor people must be going through with her still missing. Why people have to point the finger of blame at her mum for letting her out so late, I do not know. None of us know the circumstances and who are we to judge anyway. Humans make mistakes and this poor family need our support and compassion not negative comments.

I truly hope this ends in a happy conclusion but concern is growing the longer she is missing.

May your guardian angel be looking after you little one.
