UGH - your boss sounds like a right numpty. Shame you can't submit both report types and get the receiver to say why this one is better than that one or make a standard "how to format" guide everyone can use.
Even more of a shame the next in line boss can't (won't?) do anything about him. I think you are right, this is a document, document, document case and get the ammo together.
What a waste of time for you! Be different if the outcome was different.
Aside from that I hope the weekend was lovely and relaxing for youStart info Dec11

We had a lovely weekend away together. Hotel was only 45 minutes away from home but felt as though it was in another country all together. Got there too early for check in so drove to pretty little village only 9 miles away and had coffee and shared panini, plus lemon tart each, even though I had said we should share one.
Drove back towards hotel, with whiskey distillery only a mile away, decided to stop there for a tour but were thwarted as a coach was due to arrive and next tour was 2 hours time. Surely they could have squashed a Granny and her Grumpy OH in as well
Drove to hotel, still too early for check in so sat in the lounge armed with the Sunday papers and sat there drinking Guinness. Oh, it was bliss, no Sunday afternoon sport, no sound at all really as no TV in the vicinity. Room was ready at 3 but we just got the key and stayed where we were until 5.30pm.
Had lovely afternoon just reading the papers, occasional chat and afternoon tea at 3.30pm. The coffee was awful but the cakes were nice. Went up to the room at 5.30pm, nice if not a bit dated, clean and spacious with TV shut away in the cupboard for the duration of our visit.
Had a snooze and then went down for a drink at 7.30pm and a 3 course dinner. I had risotto starter and steak main, whilst OH had muffin with bacon and poached egg starter and pork belly main. It was very nice too, finished off with creme brulee and coffee plus a bottle of rose wine. We were in bed by 10.30pm, having had quite a few drinks and I woke up this morning wondering if I actually needed breakfast.
We went down at 8.30am, to be greeted with enthusiasm by the waitress who had been there since 7am and not seen anyone before us. Just after we arrived the other 21 room occupants arrived so she was looking pretty stressed by 9am. We were glad we got there when we did. It was freshly cooked and nice but I really struggled to eat it after the quantity of food we seemed to eat yesterday.
Left the hotel at 10am, drove to local shopping centre and bought tie for OH for wedding and some fish for our fish tank. Home at 2pm both feeling slightly tired and happy to spend an afternoon relaxing before work tomorrow. I could have seen the girls today but am glad that I moved it to Wednesday as I'm very tired.
Not looking forward to work tomorrow - just off to check my lottery numbers, a Granny can but dream. :rotfl:
Sat & Sun were NSD so ended up under target but still good, especially as had a couple of LSDs too. This month target is set at 15 as wedding and DD home so be silly to set it too high. 1st one today
Hope you all had a good weekend. Talk soon xTargets

Nope no lottery winnings for me I'm afraid but no work either.Have spent the night in the littlest room of my house so phoned in sick.
HE actually said "That's not a good enough excuse to not want to come and see me" but then said "take care of yourself" so at least has some modicum of humanity in him. Going to spend the day relaxing and work from home tomorrow if better. May go into work on Thursday and Friday this week x
Good luck with the job application, you got some sound advice there from others. xTargets

Well not a NSD today
Finally found a jacket to go over my dress for wedding, a sparkly bag and some pretty earrings too.
Also ordered and paid for his & hers mugs, photo frame and champagne flutes as gift. Just need to buy sparkly drink now but may get them cider instead of wine/champagne as they'd prefer it.
May be changing into halloween costume with DGDs for evening do so ordered online.
Made my 1st PAD today to Arg0s card, rounded bank down so £1.58 paid. Won't be doing it every day, just when bank account has odd pennies in balance but its a start.
Paid DS and DDIL2B the rest of the money I promised for wedding so £500 target met. Quite pleased with myself as was not without a struggle but achieved on my own.
Not sure what to do about hair and nails for wedding. Would like hair cut and styled and nails done professionally but not sure about finances. Will book something now I think and cancel if decide can't afford it. Need to start pampering nails for next 3 weeks to get them in best condition.
Off to get a drink now, be back later xTargets
