Have a good sleep granny dear x

I didn't sleep very well sadly as I had a bit of a funny tummy. DGD2 woke me up at 3am and refused to go back in her cot. I changed her, watered her, read stories to her and generally amused her for 1.5hrs until she finally dropped with exhaustion onto my pillow. Luckily I'd moved the bedroom around so that she was safe in that corner but needless to say it wasn't very conducive for a further snooze for me.

Did you manage to talk to her? Is she enjoying herself? I bet she is excited to hear about Colin x I'm considering going for a lie down now to be honest as DGD2 didn't leave until 2pm. She was a busy little madam this morning too, but very delightful as usual.

    :rotfl:

I didn't need to wake to check up on her, I think perhaps it was the other way round. I thought she may be confused when she woke up but she called out for me as soon as she woke. I was only a foot away anyway :rotfl: We had a teddys' party in my bed at 6am this morning, which after being woken at 3am and still awake at 4.30am was not what I wanted to do really. We then went downstairs at 6.30 as she wanted "Porridge" She tucked away porridge, toast, banana, sandwich, chocolate cake and crisps, all before 11.30 this morning. Despite being extremely tired, she refused to go back to sleep for a nap so much as I love her to bits, I was glad to see DS and DDIL2B at 2pm.
I hope you all enjoyed the sleepover and managed to sleep well x

OH and DGD1 had an amazing sleep, DGD2 and I seemed to be very tired today for some reason :rotfl: At half 3 this morning she was shouting for DGD1 and OH despite my saying "Shssh, they are sleeping" To which she'd reply, "Aw, shssh, night night" and then call them all over again. OH just got home and is currently snoring on the sofa, for once I understand why, although he said he heard her but thought she was talking in her sleep.

DGD1 was gorgeous this morning, she came down all sleepy eyed and cute at 7am and had a cuddle with me and DGD2, who was besides herself with happiness when she saw her. She then started yelling up the stairs for OH but he had left for work at 5am, so she stood in the middle of the living room waving bye bye to him instead, despite the fact he'd been gone an hour.

I'm debating now whether to go for a bath and lie down or make some soup for lunch this week. I'm so tired, I'll be sorry if I don't make it though. Perhaps I'll have a bath and then decide, it doesn't take long. Having mushroom tortellini for tea with goats cheese and spinach and watercress.

    NSD #14 today :j

Maybe talk later, if I haven't gone to bed early. Got 2nd meeting tomorrow with clients from last week and need meeting to go well so I can finish my report and not have to see them again. :D

I found this post earlier and gosh it made me laugh:

I remember many years ago that someone (probably a behavioural psychologist or similar) did an experiment which involved a trained athlete "shadowing" an 18-month-old toddler and mimicking all his actions.

By 5 pm the athlete was exhausted and in a state of collapse. The toddler was still going strong.

Well soup did not get made. Bath and hair wash pretty much wiped me out but determined not to snooze and therefore spoil my sleep last night, I just went for some quite time to read. I went downstairs at 7pm, ate my tea, watched some TV and off to bed by 10pm. I woke at 3am, managed to get back to sleep and then woke at 8.30, having to run backwards to make sure I got to work on time. Hair was bizarre and had to wash fringe, turned up for work with rather curly hair and wet fringe and no make-up - Glamourous Granny :rotfl:

So not a NSD today, LSD though, as lunch at £4 purchased. Even ate a chocolate bar, naughty Granny.

Meeting cancelled as client unwell, managed to catch up on aged issues that are now out of my way, leaving my path clear to concentrate on this case that's complex.

Had my daily discussion, interpret as row, with boss from H3ll this morning, much to colleagues amusement. Actually said, "Well, I don't agree with you so we'll have to agree to disagree on that". Colleague told me after that he totally sided with my side of the discussion, with my being technically correct rather than him.

Logged onto CCCS debt remedy earlier and pleased to see that their solution to my debt situation was exactly what I have done, write to Predators and enter into voluntary lower repayment plan.

Quiet days planned tomorrow and Thursday, working from home, just about to leave work now. Cooker should arrive Thursday at some point, hope its when OH is there as really don't want to deal with delivery men. Friendly Granny - :rotfl:

Logging on now so not tempted to do so later as really need an early night. Lets see if it works.
