Grr just lost the post stupid machine! Love the giggle post and still struggling with how a pork pie becomes a scone! Know the hunger feeling though. Hope today is better and tell colleague to make notes, lots of them with details evey time of each incidence, she may be able to spot a pattern and stop it.

Had a good one today - NSD #10, received ring in the post, prize from comp and some beauty products to trial.

Thinking of colouring my hair tomorrow, was going to be today but can't be ars3d now. Also need a bath but too cold to strip off.

Busy busy but quiet day at home work today.

The teacher said; “Take a pencil and paper, and write an essay with the title ‘If I Were a Millionaire.’”

Everyone but Joe, who leaned back with arms folded, began to write feverishly.

“What’s the matter,” the teacher asked. “Why don’t you begin?”

“I’m waiting for my secretary,” Joe replied.

Pretty uneventful day today. Spent the whole day either doing research for my meetings tomorrow and Tuesday or advising colleague, who's having hard time at work with one of her cases. Luckily I could spend the time on hers, disguised as time spent on mine so boss from h3ll doesn't know.

Had to ring him earlier for technical advice on case issue. Told him I'd read our technical advice and just wanted him to confirm that I'd interpreted the advice properly. He didn't have a clue what I was talking about and just agreed with me. The bloke is bl00dy useless and gets paid £40k+ for being so. ARGH!!!!!

Anyway, better news, coloured my hair with £2 hair dye. Really pleased with result but going to ask work friend if she thinks its good. I know she'll tell me the truth as I'm hoping to use same dye for the wedding, thus saving me a small fortune. However, if she doesn't think it looks professional enough she'll tell me as what I look like is more important plus she doesn't know I'm skint, so won't say it just to save me money.

    NSD #11 today :)

Night all, busy day tomorrow so off to lurk for a bit and then off to bed

Most weeks I am so glad to get to Friday evening but this week I have to say I'm even gladder.

Work was horrendous - arrived early to go over my case before client meeting, to be met by colleague looking really stressed already.

She had been met by b0ss from h3ll with a "We need to talk", which fills us all with daily dread. He rubbished her case review (that we worked so painstakingly on yesterday), in front of the whole team. He went out of his way to belittle her and left her feeling cr^p about her ability to do the job. I felt so sorry for her and asked her if she was ok but its hard to ease her suffering really.

He then asked me if I was ready and I replied by saying, "Of course, I'm always ready to listen to you tearing my work to shreds" To which he replied, "I wouldn't dream of doing that" He then asked me what the most important issue in my case was and when I answered, asked why that wasn't scheduled for discussion first. I replied saying, these are just my notes for what we need to discuss today, not necessarily in the right order. He was a bit stumped at that and I had a sort of "Good Work" from him, well as close as he gets anyway.

I went to my meeting at 10.30, left at 2pm, straight to team meeting, do not pass the kitchen, do not collect your lunch on the way, and sat in that for 1 1/4hrs. He is so awful, no-one else really spoke, just him and me, with me asking him why he wanted certain things done. He seemed to take it all in good grace though, but I was a bit miffed that no-one else spoke up. As soon as he left, they all started moaning and I'm afraid I lost it a bit then, asking why they didn't raise these things in the meeting.

So needless to say, I was glad when they all left me in the office on my own at 4pm so I could concentrate without interruption. I got home at 6.30, to OH snoring on the sofa, already pretty merry from lager, rugby on TV and too spicy curry for tea. I had no choice, I had to eat it as I was hungry enough to eat my arm. Needed a glass of milk to go with it.

OH is working tomorrow and Sunday morning. DGDs are coming to stay Sunday night so I have a busy day tomorrow, baby proofing the spare bedroom/my office. It's DGD2s 1st sleep over.

Friend in work loved my hair and asked me where I'd had it done, was really surprised when I said I did it myself with £2 dye. So will be buying another box for wedding.

    NSD#12 today

Off to find a funny for this evening. Be back in a mo
