Reporting back for duty! Sorry, been missing in action for a while. You seem to have cracked the NSDs, well done!

The missing cartoon....I thought I saw one about a fantasy league, but I can't see it now, it was very funny. Were you drinking some of granny's special remedy when you posted?

Hello my dear, no need to apologise I know how things have been.

As to the missing/changing cartoons - Well the one I posted was about reading the next line on a sight test and texting the answers on your mobile. This as you have said turned into a cartoon about fantasy league yesterday and today it is about night sweats. It's hysterical. I posted one on Mrs Fluffies' diary about back seat drivers and its turned into a joke about Pinocchio. Gremlins in the system I think. It could keep us amused for days without me having to do anything. :rotfl:

Work wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, mainly because client didn't turn up. Booked him in for next Friday pm instead, nice way to finish up the week, I don't think :(

Boss was his usual pr^tty self and I actually joked at one point that he'd been with us for long enough now and wasn't it time he retired. To which he responded I've only seen you 3 times :rotfl: He clearly thought I was joking, much to everyone elses' delight as they know that inside I'm thinking "Oh go away you stupid pr^t"

Still he did offer me some advice on a case that's been bothering me, not that I think what he told me was right but it gives me a starting point. Spoke to one of my old bosses yesterday, (he retired last year) and he told me to just take what he says, smile and then do things the right way as I normally do - not a vote of confidence in his skills me thinks

Anyway, final NSD of the month today, very very happy with me. It's been a very long frugal month but I'll feel the benefit next month when for once I'm not playing catch up.

Next month's target is 20 for now but who knows.

Gosh September tomorrow, pinch punch first of the month and all that x

Hope its a good month for us all.

    BFN Gx2

Be back later with some self changing joke x

Tonight's funny - not a cartoon as without me doing anything I may end up posting something really rude :rotfl:

An elderly man, 82, just returned from the doctors only to find he didn't have long to live. So he summoned the three most important people in his life to tell them of his fate:
    1. His Doctor
    2. His Priest
    3. His Lawyer.

He said, "Well, today I found out I don't have long to live. So, I have summoned you three here, because you are the most important people in my life, and I need to ask a favor. Today, I am going to give each of you an envelope with £50,000 inside. When I die, I would ask that all three of you throw the money into my grave."

After the man passed on, the three people happened to run into each other. The doctor said, "I have to admit I kept £10,000 of his money. He owed me from lots of medical bills. But, I threw the other £40,000 in like he requested. "

The Priest said, "I have to admit also, I kept £25,000 for the church. It’s all going to a good cause. I did, however, throw the other £25,000 in the grave."

Well the Lawyer just couldn't believe what he was hearing! "I am surprised at you two for taking advantage of him like that. I wrote a cheque for the full amount and threw it all in!!!"
