a very quiet day today after my delightful wakeup call. We went to a pub for lunch instead of pizza and then home to watch some dvd's. NSD today as well. Not sure what I'm doing tomorrow, may go for coffee with a friend as no Granny day :(

Oh Mrs Fluffy, we always loads up the tent for an ultra cheap change of scenery when things get a bit much and we cant afford a proper holiday. Spending time outside come rain or shine always seems to

Good morning my lovelies. I woke up this morning feeling a bit out of sorts and couldn't think why and then I remembered my 2 favourite girls aren't coming to see me today. Silly Granny I know as they will be back before I know it but its hard to fit in time to see them the rest of the week, due to our working patterns. If I'd known I could have taken Wed off in lieu instead of tomorrow. Never mind, I may manage to sneak in a bedtime visit one day.

About to stir my stumps and go meet a friend for coffee instead.

Hope you all have a good day. BFN Gx2 x

Thanks PG, DS rang tonight they had a lovely, albeit short, holiday, what with the wedding coming up. They went to Weston-super-mare to the steam fun fair and had a fantastic time. Plus they went to P^ult0ns P3pp^ P1g world and both girls loved it.

I can't believe how much I missed Granny day yesterday though, I just didn't know what to do with myself. :o

Had 2 NSDs, made banana loaf yesterday and ashamed to say it was so lovely, I've eaten far too much of it. :o:o

Gave myself a home spa day today, complete with mud wrap and luxurious soak. Felt a bit light headed after so think the detox properties of the mud wrap must have worked. Had to go for a lie down afterwards but read a book so really enjoyed.

Back to work tomorrow - payday Friday, gosh its been a long month this month but I'm so pleased with myself that I got through it. Am going to try to do a signature update next week, once all the predators have been paid. Hopefully my debt will have come down a bit now H^lif^x aren't charging interest.

Got to try to find £120 by mid October for catalogue so don't have to pay interest. Considering what I've achieved this month, I'm hoping I can do it.

DD is home on 26th Oct for wedding and staying until 13th, so will get some quality time with her. OH and I go away on 16th so got something to look forward to after she's gone.

Tried my dress on again today and it looks really nice and is slightly looser and that was before the mud wrap :) Wasn't sure about wearing a long dress when the bride is wearing knee length but DD said I should wear it as it sounds lovely, (it is) and also sounds as though I feel good in it, (I do). Just need to find something to wear on top of it as its strapless. Plus need shoes and possibly bag.

Both DM and DF annoyed me yesterday with comments re the wedding but trying to let it wash over me and put it down to the funny ways of old people :D

Anyway, enough for now. Off to bed. Back to work tomorrow, though from home so not too bad. Hoping DGDs come over in evening.

    Night all

  • I have been meaning to take my brood to the steam fair since we moved here, I never seem to have enough money though lol

The weddings getting close now, I bet you look lovely and it don't matter what length the brides dress is, would you be worrying if she had a long dress and yours was knee length :D You remind me of my mum when I was getting married she worried about her outfit so much she brought 4! She then wore the first one she got, at least you only have the one :rotfl:
