Not all men I'm sure but mine definitely is. If I snapped at him as much as he snaps at everyone, he'd probably leave. Perhaps I should try it.

Off to bed now my lovelies, in honour of IT - Grumping in his corner, here is tonight's funny.

An old man gets on a crowded bus and no one gives him a seat. As the bus shakes and rattles, the old man's cane slips on the floor and he falls.

As he gets up, a seven-year-old kid, sitting nearby, turns to him and says, "If you put a little rubber thingy on the end of your stick, it wouldn't slip."

The old man snaps back, "Well, if your daddy did the same thing seven years ago, I would have a seat today."

Oh dear granny, I do hope you manage to get the OH to cheer up soon, he is in danger of upsetting everyone. I wonder if you mentioned to him each time he snapped, would he change/care. Habits are hard to break and I bet he doesn't even realise he is being so selfish.

As long as you and the DGDs had a good time then stick your tongue out to the OH and let him be grumpy.

Thanks for the support my dear friends. He was much better this evening, I seriously think its time for one of our talks again as like Heffi says, he doesn't even realise he's doing it and always acts shocked when I tell him but only during a "talk", otherwise he acts like I'm mad or something.

Had an unexpected visit this morning, which was lovely, as DS wanted to borrow my printer to do DGD1s school project. DGD2 got a bit upset when they got here and cried "GO" as soon as they arrived. I think she thought they were dropping her off and she was having none of it. She soon calmed down when they didn't leave though and before long we were laughing out the garden in the sunshine.

I started making my cardi today and after 100 rows realised I've misread the instructions and have to start again. Lucky I enjoy knitting.

Off to work tomorrow and have really horrid meeting to deal with in the morning, so not expecting it to be a good day. However, once that's out of the way, the rest of the week should be ok.

Night all, hope you've had a good day and have an even better one tomorrow.

Hi Granny, hope you meeting isn't as bad as you expect it to be.
    morning granny,
hope work goes ok and chat with OH,
    i have a funeral today:(

Work was nowhere near as bad as I expected. Good meeting and spent afternoon mentoring colleague who struggles with the job.

Chat with OH didn't happen. I was tired when I got home at 7pm and he seemed to be in a much better mood and I didn't feel like spoiling it. I'll challenge him the next time he slips back into Grump mode though. He even went shopping for me and although I didn't want much he did ask me first if I need anything, therefore saving me about £20.

Had NSD today as a result.

Hope funeral went as well as these things can NTO x

Night all, I'm off to bed now as I'm so tired. Luckily working from home next 2 days so should get lots done but have time to relax too,
