OMG I'm one tired, tired Granny.
Picked the girls up this morning and went to the seafront for a walk. Had coffee and tea-cake in cafe, OH had beer and roll, DGD1 had apple juice and pizza and initially, despite my telling OH to get her some toast, DGD2 had nothing. Gosh he really is not at all clued up on babies. Went to get her some water, milk and toast, luckily, because when the food came she pounced on it like she hadn't seen food for a year.
After this we went for a further walk with DGD1 chattering merrily away. Her and OH went down to look into rock pools, so DGD2 and I walked a bit further along the sea front, with her walking part of it and riding part of it in her buggy.
We stopped for ice-cream but DGD2 didn't want any and DGD1 ate about a teaspoon of hers, so OH and I had 1.5 tubs each.
My intention was to walk a bit further to get on the little seafront train, as it was its last day today, but OH didn't want to walk that far. So next I knew we were back in the car and heading home?!?!?
We'd only been out 3 hours. He asked if we were dropping them home and I said no not yet its too early?!?!
Got home and DGDs and I went out the garden to chat. OH sat on the sofa, drinking beer and watching sport, usual weekend activity for him. Ignoring DGDs pretty much, just the occasional grunt in their direction.
I made them tea and then asked OH what had happened to the steak we had in the fridge. To which he grunted, "I put it in the freezer as I thought we were going out for food!". So I responded by saying that it was him who had decided it was time to go home, without having gone for food. I got snapped at as we had nothing out for tea and can't really understand it as it was OHs choice that today went the way it did. That'll teach me, I should have just done what I wanted with the girls and left him home sofa surfing as usual. Boring, boring old man.
Sorry, grump over, I had a lovely time with the girls but he irritated me. Not a NSD today as spent £10 in cafe and £9 on the shoes I mentioned yesterday, for the wedding.
Not likely to have one tomorrow either as going food shopping. Really need to focus on my healthy eating as only 8 weeks until wedding. Still got about 100lbs to lose, but 10 or so would do. :rotfl:

LOL, it's West, only about 10 miles to nearest beach. Really wanted to go to another beach about 30 miles away, as lovely little seaside town too and a zoo to go to if sun came out but OH decided he didn't want to go that far. He suggested we went to local one, which has a lovely country walk near it but them because it was drizzly raining didn't want to go walking there either. Bl00dy man, does he think he's going to shrink in the rain, or maybe spoil his non-existent hair?
It reminded me of what he was like when my DC were home, Grumpy Old F^rt, stressing everyone out with his miserable ways.
Sorry, as you can tell he's annoyed me today, bet you are really glad you asked now x :rotfl:
How are you now anyway, hope things are a bit better at home xTargets

Oh granny I'm sorry to hear your OH is being Mr Grumpy pants at the moment.
It's a good job you have such a great sense of humour otherwise he could really bring you down. I really hope he perks up soon.
