Thank you all, was very miserable yesterday but feeling a bit more positive today. I just hoped I could get rid of this debt to take the pressure off while I fully recuperate and get back to work.
Missrlr, does that mean you are now unsecured debt free? If so, fantastic. I've sent you a pm x
Had a lovely day with my littlies today, always manages to cheer me up.
Away for a couple of days with my mum from tomorrow, let's hope she took on board what I said to her last week

Oh dear, what a day!
My mum was supposed to go to the hotel we are staying at yesterday. I asked her to text me when she arrived but she never did. I tried ringing her, no answer, so text & emailed her. No reply. So today I tried ringing and texting sporadically throughout the morning, getting more and more worried.
She rang me at 1pm to tell me she was just leaving home! She had a 5 hour drive in front of her so I was concerned for her safety and once again asked her to text/ring when she arrived.
The reason she was delayed! She realised yesterday she had no MOT on her car, in fact it ran out in July!!!! She used this vehicle to travel the 50+ miles to last weeks hotel!
Anyway, no further news from her until 8pm this evening when she rang rather distraught asking could she stay at mine, some 2 hours in the wrong direction from where she should be. She'd got horrendously lost because she didn't believe the sat nav!!! Turned around and tried to find her bearings and ended up driving back the way she'd come.
OH was not too pleased that I'd said she could stay but what else could I do. She'd been driving for 7 hours already and I still didn't really know where she was.
OH wasn't being thoughtless, he's working from 5am until 10pm tomorrow so really needs his sleep tonight and she's up and down all night as she doesn't sleep well and crashes around disturbing everyone else in the process.
Well by 10:30pm I was getting really worried as there was still no sign of her. Shortly after, she rang to tell me she was home! She'd driven for 9.5hours, taking a couple of breaks, used up half a tank of fuel and been within 40 miles of her destination. And now she's got to do it all again tomorrow.
I suggested she gets the train instead and I'd pick her up from a local station but no, she's got too much stuff so is going to drive. I gave her the post code of where we're going, as she had failed to look it up herself and told her not to ignore the sat nav as it'll take her where she needs to go if she listens to it.
I sometimes wonder which one of us is the parent and which the child!!!!
Sorry, needed to get this off my chest
Night all

Oh boy Granny, your poor mum. What is the point of a sat nav if you don't believe it. Sometimes mine takes me a funny way, but at least I get there....
Sorry that not all of your creditors are playing ball. Re the one where they accepted your offer for OH but not for you, it might be worth a letter asking why. Explaining that your circs are the same for the household or something.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
