Oh Granny, my DH likes to refer to me as CFO and rely on my vigilance. However, he's as likely to turn feral when in a depressed mood and say I'm a drain on resources because I'm not earning (ATM) and we're only in this position because I wanted to relocate in order to take care of my mum. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

Thanks DF(w) & Satch, good to know someone understands, although it isn't nice to think of you being referred to in that way x

No news yet which is slightly frustrating but been less than a week so far. One that has agreed has written off £5.5k so £1k more than I thought. Just about to pay it and then do a signature update.
Happy daysTargets

Thanks for the visit Beanie, Lucky & Missrlr
I've had a really good day today, no reason in particular but am feeling really happy & calm. No news yet, far too soon but what will be will be and I'm feeling positive

Loved reading this - soo glad things are taking a positive turn for you. xThanks both x
Had my first phone call from a predator today, I have 2 debts with them. One accepted my 22% offer of resettlement! other want £90 more which is no hardship. So pleased I went in with such a low amount to start. £6k debt written off for <£1,500. Result. Let's hope the other 7 debts go the same way.
Granny x
Excellent news - what a result - just shows if you dont ask you dont get.
My OH now thinks we can spend my previous 'debt' money on rubbish and I am trying to tell him that he actually has cc debt that really needs tackling before any silly spending.0 -
Thanks Brizzle, Lam & Chev, (nice to see you Chev).
I've just booked my flights to Oz, so excited I'm smiling from ear to ear. Went out for coffee with OH and told him how he was making me feel and how he was spoiling it for me. We had a long chat and he actually listened and now I've jumped on the positive outcome and booked them. If he changes his mind now, well tough.
Oh I'm so happy, life is so going in the direction I want it to at the moment.
Hope everyone else is having a good day too.
