  • I'd be upset at the situation too, so you have every reason to vent. Being made to feel unwelcome in your own home is never acceptable, whatever the circumstances are. Hugs Xx

Hum, this communication side is not getting any better really is it? I was just trying to be charitable for him .... If you feel unwelcome in your own home then perhaps you need to consider even more coping strategies or the whole position?

    Hello Granny, :hello:

Your DH sounds rather like my late DH would get sometimes, when 'people overload' struck.. Our solution was a separate place he could retreat to - not an easy / MSE solution though.
Anyway, very sorry to read DH's grumpiness spoiled your weekend. :(

Hope you get a cheerful visit from DGC today to cheer you up. :)

Time for a quick update as its been a while. Thanks for the words of sympathy, feeling a lot brighter at the moment.

Visit from little ones didn't happen as planned last week but I spent some quality time with my DGDs on Thursday when the 3 of us went out for a relatively low cost tea. It was delightful.

Today is DGSs birthday, cannot believe he's 1 already. He is as gorgeous as his sisters. He and the rest of his family called in yesterday for his presents and cards and each thing he opened, (be it clothes or toy), was met with a wow. At one point we were all chatting and having decided he'd waited long enough, he promptly tore into another present. :)

He took his baby walking frame home with him and has had great delight pushing it around his living room today.

Quick debt review has been done, signature updated accordingly. Slow steady progress with not too much hardship faced if I'm really honest. Just wish I'd tackled it years ago.

I'm meeting a friend later and then have to be fairly frugal until pay day on Friday.

    Hope all is well.
