    Dear Granny,

Happy anniversary. I hope OH isn't irritating you today. I hope your call to the hospital didn't result in a postponement. I hope your operation goes well today. I hope your DS brings your darling GCs to see you often. I hope you return to full fitness quickly, and that you take sufficient pain relief to make the recovery bearable.

I've bound all those hopes up into a prayer for you. Much love, Satchmo xx

    Dear Granny
I do hope all went well, and that OH has not irritated you too much! Perhaps he may be a little stressed about this but trying to cope and lighten the mood with humour? Not necessarily a fail safe strategy but ....

Thanks all, op went well Feeling ok if not a little sore and light headed. As suspected didn't do everything so I have another op, maybe 2 to go at some point but for now I'm glad I'm moving forward.

OH has been really good, he always is in a crisis. I could sense his stress and worry about me on Wed & Thurs. He sounded relieved when I spoke to him this morning and said he'd slept for 10 hours which is totally unlike him.

Managed to text DS, DD, friend from work and DM and ring OH within 15mins of getting back to the ward post op. Few complications in recovery but nothing that wasn't remedied. Blood pressure is extremely low which is why have to stay in but may be allowed home tomorrow
