Thanks all :hello:
Things are going ok with me still taking the time to recover properly without pushing myself too far. The joy of it just being me & OH in the house means I can do this.
OH is being brilliant, although he has started repeat asking when I'm going to try to drive. I'm in no hurry to do so and have been advised that it's best not to do it for 6 weeks, which I've told him more than once, so I'm not sure why he feels the need to nag. I suspect that he feels pressure from my being dependant on him. I haven't once moaned about not being able to go anywhere though so not sure why this would be the case. Maybe he's just trying to show an interest.
Still no news on redundancy, which is annoying as a much longer delay will mean I may have to go back to work for a couple of weeks in August, (that's supposing I can stay off until then anyway) fingers crossed something comes through this week.
I've signed up to do a couple of online courses to update my skills whilst I'm off work so that should keep me busy. I've got a year to do them.
I renewed our HI and my CI and saved money and went through TCB on both so pleased with that. Not much other news.
Hope all is well with you

Hi Granny! glad you are still firmly on the positive recovery road. I'd be tempted to write a large note on the diary or calendar at the 6 week mark with some, thing obvious like "doctors ok to drive? Check" then refer DH to that one!

I'm glad you're not rushing to drive, take your time and your body will recover in it's own time
I remember my dad pushing my mum to drive after she'd had a hysterectomy and she gave in 3 weeks after having it and split all the stitches and ended up in hospital with an infection! Back-fired on dad as he'd pushed her into driving so he could go back to work and stop running around after us...he ended up doing it for twice as long as first planned
lol

Thanks all, feeling ok and a little better every day.
DFw, your poor mum that sounds familiar, my ex OH pushed me into doing something too soon and I ended up seriously ill in hospital. When I was discharged the nursing staff told him to take extra care of me as if I didn't take things easy I may not be so lucky next time. For once in his selfish life he actually listened.
I have somehow managed to mess up my budget this month and am seriously low on funds. I think I have enough, just, to cover all my bills but I'm annoyed that I'm going to be o/d this month after 4 months of not.
Still no news on redundancy!
Mr T have requested a debt review, it only feels like yesterday but looking back it was more than 6 months ago. They sent their standard, please call us letter, but as usual I'm just going to write to them. Hopefully, following on from Mrs PGs advice last year, I saved the template letter and SOA so just have to update that slightly. Probably time I did a review for myself anyway.
No other news really. Enjoying being off work, I actually now realise just how stressed it was making me and know I've made the right decision re leaving.

Hi Granny,
Thank you for popping over to my diary.. I found it quite surreal as I have yours as a tab on my kindle and have been reading from the beginning for awhile now.. I'm currently in Autumn 2012.. so your DS is yet to be married, you have just bought your wedding shoes from Ebay and your OH is Mr Grumpy... not sure how much has changed since then but I shall carry on reading to catch up.. eventually...!!
Take Care and I will post up when I've caught up...!!
