Thanks all, I thought I'd better pop in and post before a search party is sent out
Things have been slightly better since getting through the weekend.
OH is still off to watch the rugby but I'm staying in and pottering upstairs on that day. Have no desire to go out anywhere and can't see DGC without bringing them here for the day which wouldn't go down well with OH. I could go to DM but I'm tired and its a long drive, plus he's working afternoons on 2 days so I'll have the house to myself.
Work has been fairly non-eventful this week, although HE did play a trick on me. HE allocated me new referrals, only to then send me an email stating it was only so they didn't get allocated to another team. HE's not actually expecting me to do anything with them.
DD has applied for her residency in OZ and it has come through. She is beside herself with joy at the thought of no more stressful visa applications. I'm made up for her, especially as I may get to visit her sometime in the next year.
No predators news, things are ticking along as before, no major reductions but no increases either which is good.
NO news on the operation front so I'm assuming I'm still pencilled in for April. Not long now!!!
DGD1 has just arrived for the evening, so I'm going to log off and spend some quality time playing with her.

Had a lovely evening with DGD1, she's a funny little girl who has lots of naughty moments but is always fun to be around, especially when she's on her own. She's got into the habit of repeating things DDIL has said though, so I had to tell her not to. DDIL is a bit of a spoilt princess who is very used to getting her own way.
Had a lovely kiss and hug from DGD2 when I dropped DGD1 home, didn't see my little man as he was in bed.
Went for coffee with friends yesterday which was nice. Good to have a proper natter about nothing in particular. Last night had a chat with DD on IM, lots of giggles sent me to bed with a smile on my face.
Work went well yesterday, HE was working in another office so stayed pretty quiet. I managed to write up a report that even if I say so myself I'm pretty proud of. I was hoping to get it off my desk before I go on hols in 2 weeks, so pretty pleased with myself.
Job spec is changing when I move to my new office, which is 40 miles away and I'm not happy about new duties or travelling. Put in for redundancy so I can make an informed decision about my future. Not sure I want to stay with new role but scary starting again at my age. (Although I did say this was going to be the year I changed my life for the better). Should know details of redundancy package end of April so a bit of time to review options.
Car is going back into the garage next week. It's been spluttery since the MOT and service, so I've asked the garage to change the coils. Cost will be about £150, which I've told OH he'll have to lend me until payday. Hoping he offers to just pay it.
He's working all day today which is a nice surprise, he's off tomorrow to watch the rugby. So today I've got lots of peace to do whatever I want and tomorrow I'll keep myself amused with housework. Glad I didn't go to DMs as I love having the house to myself all day.
Had details re speeding fine yesterday, may opt for SA course instead of points/fine. Decide once I know how costly it is and when I get course dates.
Hope your weekends are going well

Hi Granny..am glad you had a good time yesterday and get some me time today.
Redundancy could be a big step..but who knows, as you say, could be the start of a whole new stage of your life. Hope it really gives you credible options anyway xMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

I had a lovely quiet day on Saturday. It was blissful, plus I had the cupcake I mentioned on your diary Lucky
The more I think about taking redundancy, the more it appeals. Mentioned it in passing to OH today, (previously told him I was thinking of and then that I had applied) and he just asked how likely am I to be able to get a job in my chosen field if I leave. He didn't seem at all stressed and in fact like DM seemed to be encouraging me to do it. My job has changed so much from what it started out, I just don't get the same job satisfaction anymore, plus it's due to change again and not for the better. Coupled with a 2 hour commute on top of an already long day, because I do 5days over 4days, I'm bound to feel the effects and strain of trying to do too much. It really does appear to be a bit of a no brainer really.
Will all depend on the figures really as I need enough to make reduced offers of repayment to predators so that I don't have to stress whilst looking for alternate employment. Also gives me a chance to get health back on track before I begin looking. Training course I want to do has 2 start dates which gives me a bit more freedom too. Lots to think about really.
My stars for next month state, you are facing a big decision in your life this month and you should embrace the change with both hands. Not usually something I take any notice of but this one seemed fitting.
Off to bed now as seeing 2 little ones tomorrow, 1 for hugs and kisses, (little man), the other for a few hours of Granny and DGD2 time
