27 years ago today you were safe and sound and I was looking forward to your arrival in 3 months time. On March 1st, 1987, you arrived but sadly one of you couldn't even stop to say hello and the other left after just 36 hours.

It may be 27 years but you will forever be in my thoughts and my heart. I love you as much today as the first time I saw you on that scan on 30 Dec 1986, if not more. This is a pain so deep it cuts to the very core of me.

Happy birthday for tomorrow my beautiful angel girls:

Thanks Lucky for both the birthday wishes and for the hugs, much appreciated from someone who is also suffering from a similar event.

    Thanks for the hugs all

Satch, sadly no special place to go and reflect and no chance of seeing little ones as they went to a birthday party. I wouldn't have been very good company anyway. X

In the end it was probably good that OH worked and I was on my own. I had no one to annoy me and could focus totally on myself and my feelings. I spent the day reading and sleeping and just generally reflecting and in the end it wasn't so bad.

Today was okay, just tomorrow to get through now, anniversary of DD3s death :(

I was a bit irritated today with OH trying to cheer me up by cracking dull jokes and being generally silly. He put a comedy film on and then got a bit grumpy when I fell to sleep in the middle of it. I tried explaining that actually a weepy film was more suitable really as it suited my mood, the comedy just made me annoyed.

What annoyed me more than anything though was when he announced that he has taken a shift off next weekend to watch the rugby. Can he really not see how hurtful that is.

Anyway I have got through another year and have plenty to be thankful for, so pity fest over.

Here's a link to make you giggle, I particularly like the lost phone one and the link to auto corrects had me more than smiling

  • Granny I don't really know what to say. Men can be so thoughtless at times. He obviously thought he was doing the right thing trying to cheer you up but got it completely wrong.

When its the anniversaries for losing my mum and dad I prefer to be by myself, not to be miserable but to reflect and probably like you I relive the days that I lost them minute by minute.

So sorry that so far you have had a rough 2014, its about time you had abit of good luck. If I win the lottery i'll send some money your way, but as I can't even get three numbers I don't think this will be anytime in the near future.

Big Hugs, I thought your post on the 28th February was just perfect and beautiful.x
