Definitely raise a complaint, and I'd also be inclined to stress how much the persons actions upset you in your vulnerable state. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

How on earth can YOU be in trouble when you are signed of sick.
Surely the person threatening you should be in serious trouble.

Thanks all, the more I think about her attitude the more annoyed I am. Luckily she is not someone I work with, she actually works for another branch of the Civil service and the meeting is a legal one. However just the fact that she felt she could coerce me into attending despite the fact that I am unwell is just ludicrous and needs reporting. She was quite shocked when I refused to attend and I think she panicked which is why she said what she did. Despite this I am going to take it further as she was clearly out of her depth and shouldn't be in this position if she's unable to think outside of the box. My contact with her throughout has left a lot to be desired but until now I've let it go.
Today got even worse when OH opened a letter from Mr T, crossing with my letter of yesterday. They are insisting on a formal SOA with evidence of household income, evidence of reason for being unable to afford payment, evidence of essential outgoings and finally evidence of other predators acceptance of reduced payment. Cheeky beggars, they are having none of it, I've sent an updated list of income, outgoings, creditors and offers of payment. That's good enough for everyone else so in my opinion should be good enough for them too. I could do without the stress though. Shouldn't imagine we'll get a reply before I go into hospital which is a bit annoying as I could do without worrying about that.
OH is in a very bad mood tonight after working all day so I've left him to catch up with the sport he's missed today and gone to bed out of the way. Not sure what he's working tomorrow as he's just grunting so I'll find out when I wake up I suppose. He's afternoon's but may also be in tomorrow morning. Not sure which I prefer to be honest as could do with a chat but if he's going to be so uncommunicative he may as well go to work and leave me in peace.
Night all

I agree with everyone else re: your colleague! It's not like you are skiving off with a cold !! I hope she's the one who faces disciplinary action not you! Twit!

Wow what a horrible colleague you have, Granny! (Wonder whether she realises she's over-stepped the mark and is spending this weekend consumed with worry about being reported? ..It's not very nice, but kind of wish she is - might ram home the lesson when your complaint arrives!
).
Hope you're having a peaceful day today.0 -
Oh Granny how infuriating of Mr T. Such a nusciance if you did the rounding down only once and for so little they have triggered the whole process again!
TBH I would have been tempted to say yes my circumstances have changed I am off poorly and get stuffed you are having £5! But that doesn't help the DFD .....
Hope they accept it again. Please don't stress and if they try it on, stick them a copy of your doctors note!Start info Dec11

Thanks for the support all.
Missrlr, I'll certainly try that route if my offer of continue with previous agreement doesn't work.
After a weekend stressing over the meeting today it went off without a hitch, despite my absence. Colleague was able to use my research to provide some information that was needed and decision was made without my needing to be consulted. C0w colleague was spoken to about our conversation and reprimanded.
Tomorrow, (or rather today) is pre assessment day, here's hoping chest has cleared sufficiently to allow us to proceed. I haven't seen my little people just in case as I seem to be a magnet for their bugs. Possibly down to the fact that we spend a lot of time hugging. Last antibiotic due in the morning so fingers crossed.
DM sent me a lovely message tonight wishing me good luck, only thing is instead of saying good luck Granny it said happy birthday Granny - :rotfl: the sentiment was there
OH has surprised me and taken the shift off work to come with me and has booked Monday and Tuesday off next week too.
