Well last weekend was nice. Not much else to say about it really as it is clear that our relationship is in severe need of some work. I need to put as much effort into sorting that out as I am about my debts because it is making me unhappy.
Our anniversary on Tuesday started off well but ended with me not speaking to him whilst he drove us home after referring to me as "IT". "Why", I hear you ask, well because having asked him to wait for me to get the sat nav to work he decided to drive off anyway and then got annoyed with me when I told him I didn't know which direction we had to turn. For some reason this was met with, "Oh for goodness sake, look at it, why on earth are you in such a mood now" To say I was a bit shaken by this response was an under estimation. I informed him I would not be speaking to him until he apologised and as a result we headed off in completely the wrong direction, drove about 100 miles out of our way and took 6 hours to do a 4 hour journey. Not quite the romantic day I was hoping for.
Things haven't improved much all week and I'm pretty fed up about it all. Last night he worked so having woken up at 11.30, he tramped downstairs, sat on the sofa with a grunt, looked at me as though expecting me to speak, went for a bath with a huff and has now come back downstairs, made himself a cup of tea and a sandwich and is now sitting on the sofa grunting to himself. Now believe it or not, this is not because I am still not speaking to him, despite his not apologising for the "It" comment. Clearly there is something bothering him but as he refuses to do anything more than make stupid caveman noises, I cannot be ars3d to enquire.
I've just had a mooch around all the diaries as I've been MIA for the week and am now wondering how long it will be before the water is warm enough for me to have a bath, exciting life I lead. My mood is not helped by the fact that it is very cold here today and I have no money so am feeling a tad trapped.
Oh well, I hope everyone else is having a good weekend.

Lovely to see you back Granny, although am sorry your trip didn't quite live up to expectations.
But.
Your other half is a bloke. Doubtless he's more familiar with the satnav than you are so would take just a couple of seconds to fire it up..
Ok so his comment was a bit short, but if he said what you wrote, then it seems pretty clear to me that he was referring to the satnav as "it" - not you!
Now he doesn't know why you're being grumpy with him.
Communication failure. Dare say he's learned the lesson of waiting until you are ready to drive off.
As soon as the water heats up; suggest you have a long relaxing bath, scented if possible, and then emerge in cheerful mood. [STRIKE]Force it[/STRIKE] Act if you have to.
Give him the apology he's looking for, and start your day again. :A
Think it's more important to look forward - how do I solve this problem? - rather than focus on the upset that the misunderstanding has caused.
Maybe suggest a minor but enjoyable excursion this afternoon (taking his wallet).

Thank you both.
Sadly Robin, I know he was referring to me rather than the Sat nav as he does this far too often. He knows why I was annoyed, (as I explained it to him both at the time and later when I tried to discuss it with him) but has refused to say sorry. I have however spoken to him this week despite saying I wouldn't until he said sorry. His mood today is because he worked last night, for which I have every sympathy, he's tired and as a result grumpy. He refuses to go out for pretty much the same reason.
the weather is appalling, its cold, I have tooth ache and the thought of sitting in all day with sport on the tv listening to his grumping noises is making me miserable. I'll get over it but felt the need to grump myself and felt this was the best place.
