Dear Robin thank you so much for spending the time to write such an informative message, offended? Absolutely not, I'm really pleased that you are able to help
You are right in thinking I disappear off upstairs when I can see he needs some alone time. We have had our own bedrooms for a few years which helps. I can sense on some days he doesn't even want me around but on others is happy for the company as long as its spent in quiet contemplation. I'm fairly easy going and don't vent at him often but now and again I find myself having to have a chat with him. At least now I'll be able to think beyond the grumpiness though. Luckily I like quiet too and have never felt the need to chatter unnecessarily.
Today has been another nsd as I've worked from home and lent my car to OH. I anticipate tomorrow being one too
Not much else to report I'm afraid. Hope all is well with you all. No pictures tonight as I'm on my phone. I'm going to have an early night

Isn't it?
Lots more interesting info in the links on that site too, for those who got a surprising test result or hear bells ringing..
Granny I think preferring to sleep alone is another tick.
The sleeping alone comes from me rather than him
To be honest I wondered about myself too as some of the pointers reflect my behaviour/feelings. I did the test and came out with a low Aspie score but average NT score. I can see just by doing the test myself that OH will score high
I don't really care tbh and doubt that he will want to do anything about it. It helps me understand him and to know that his behaviour is not 'normal' but that there is a reason for it. I don't talk about him to friends and family as I get asked why I'm still with him. We live in a disposable society and sadly that seems to include relationships. I love him, (although at times he drives me mad) and want our marriage to work. It has a lot of good to it that outweighs his behaviour, especially if it can be so easily explained. The only reason I have considered leaving is because I've worried that his behaviour means he's unhappy with me. Looks like maybe I got that wrong.
DearRobin I want to thank you so much for taking notice of what I have said about us, you may very well have saved our relationship. I'm sorry that you miss PC so much, but glad in another way as it shows that it is possible to have a relationship with them.
You are also right about me being lucky to have DGC so close, although I don't get to see them as often as I'd like to, something called work gets in the way
On that note I must stir my stumps and get to it. Happy Friday all, the sun is shining

Good luck with the dentist! I don't particularly like them either!
I took that test and my result was 'Your Aspie score: 72 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 156 of 200
You are very likely neurotypical' No idea what it meant, but was quite interesting answering some of the questions!

Would have liked one of my DS's to have been a dentist cos of how much it can cost, hopefully I would have got a discounted price .
Had an expensive couple of days with shopping so need to curb it. Went to a school bingo last night and won a pampering box, which I have used tonight. So cos won ten pounds on the school grand national draw and then won at the bingo, I have bought a lottery ticket tonight to see if this is win number three. Prob not.
Hope u manage to have a relaxing weekend cos Monday comes round quick enough and OH is not causing you too much hassle(if that's the word to use) this weekend.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000
