I do think you should go to the doctors you dont sound good at all... My friend had something similar at work... coughing until she was literally sick... Went to Dr`s and they said viral no antibiotics... She went back a week later and they told her she had a severe chest infection that needed very strong antibiotics and was bacterial.... not good

Thank you once again for your concern all. I went to the doctor this morning and he confirmed a) flu, b) I am still very poorly and c) antibiotics are needed. He has signed me off for a further week and asked to see me next Monday before I go back to work.
I have managed to stay out of bed all day, in an attempt to aid my sleep this evening, last night was very bad coughing continuously. I fell to sleep at about 7.30 for half an hour but other than that have just rested all day.
Not a nsd as called in Mr T on way back to buy couple bits, fairly lsd though.
Hope the rest of you are well and keeping dry and warm

I had my target card bill today and making small overpayments has resulted in the debt being reduced by £20 this month. Not a massive amount but a step in the right direction. I made a larger o/p to another card to save some interest and have reduced the balance on that by £60 and saved a bucket of interest.
I had a letter from Mr T CC yesterday asking me to call them which I did despite feeling unwell. They cannot trace the payment I made in December and have asked me to check my bank account to ensure the payment hasn't been returned. I told him I had done that and he asked me to check again whilst on the phone to him. I'm sure he thought I was stupid or something. I explained that I had a SO set up and the payment had made its way to them using the same details each time in November and January but somehow the Dec payment has gone missing. He said I'd probably made an error with the input details and would not listen when I said the payment has not gone missing before using the same details each time so I don't understand how this one has gone astray. He just didn't seem to grasp what I was saying and was extremely condescending. Final result, "ask my bank to trace the payment".
I've had a letter from my bank today telling me they are changing the way they work. At the moment, just for paying £1,000 into my account each month they give me £5. They are going to stop this in May if I use my overdraft at all, even for just £1 in 1 day, in a month. So my target is to stop relying on my o/d each month as from May it's going to cost me £5 to use. I cut it down to £250 a month anyway so should be able to get out of the habit of using it. So that is my next target, alongside reducing my target cards.
I'm feeling very out of sorts today, no energy to do anything, probably because of the disturbed sleep I'm having, but I feel like I want to do something. Going to resist the urge though as I can't do anything without coughing rather violently.
DS rang last night to ask if I could babysit DGD2 tomorrow but sadly I had to decline. He was very understanding about it and said even if I was better by then he didn't want me to overtax myself so we'd leave it until the end of the week.
It's likely to be a nsd today as I'm not planning on going anywhere, although it would be nice if OH came home from work and offered to take me out for some fresh air.

She was in the bathroom, putting on her makeup, under the watchful eyes of her young granddaughter, as she'd done many times before. After she applied her lipstick and started to leave, the little one said, "But Grandma, you forgot to kiss the toilet paper good-bye!" I will probably never put lipstick on again without thinking about kissing the toilet paper good-bye....Targets

THE DIFFERENCE IF YOU MARRY WELSH GIRL!!
Three friends married women from different parts of the world.....
The first man married a Greek girl. He told her that she was to do the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple of days, but on the third day he came home to see a clean house and dishes washed and put away. ...
The second man married a Thai girl. He gave his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. The first day he didn't see any results but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day he saw his house was clean, the dishes were done, and there was a huge dinner on the table.
The third man married a girl from WALES . He ordered her to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed, and hot meals on the table for every meal.
The first day he didn't see anything, the second day he didn't see anything either but by the third day, some of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye and his arm was healed enough that he could fix himself a sandwich and load the dishwasher. He still has some difficulty when he urinates
