Thanks for asking, blinking awful. :( I can't even stand up and am freezing cold despite the fact that my skin is so hot you could fry an egg. OH has gone to work, tbh I don't know how, unless he isn't as bad as me. He loses the first 3 days pay if off sick though so its harder for him to take time off. I've just rung HIM and said I won't be in before Friday earliest, when I have an important meeting but to be prepared for someone else having to do it.

I tossed and turned all night and drank 2 litres of water. My lips are all cracked and my throat hurts like h3ll. I've just coughed up and enormous ball of yuck, better out than in.

I'm going to log off now because just looking at this screen is hurting my eyes.

Hope you are ok, I'll try to pop over later to see how you are doing x

nsd yesterday and today likely to be one too.

Thank you my dears for the well wishes and concern.

I'm still not well, having realised this is flu not a heavy cold. I spent last night with my desk fan blowing cold air onto my upper body all night and still my nightwear was soaked this morning. I spent the night wondering when I could take my next dose as my head was really bad. I also lost my voice yesterday.

I will probably have to go to the doctors at some point but at the moment can hardly get out of bed let alone get myself there. I'm dosing myself up with flu remedies though so hope it'll go away before long. OH isn't well either but either he isn't as bad as me or he's made of stronger stuff as he's gone to work. He isn't eating normally though although he is eating, (I'm off my food) and when having food is making easy things like pizza or chips or toast.

I don't think there is any way I'm going to make that meeting on Friday but will leave it until tomorrow pm to let HIM know. All my notes for the meeting are online so it'll be easy for whoever picks it up to follow.

Anyway needless to say the last 3 days have been nsd so I've exceeded my target for the month and still 8 days to go.

    Hope you are all well

    Granny x
