No, from an office on a business park.
Either way, whats it to you?
It was a quick disposal for one of the main dealers i work with - one of a small batch of cars i bought from them last week, otherwise it wouldnt be something i'd normally have bothered with.0 -

They had taken it as a trade in, and it was one of a batch of cars i bought from them. The others being an 06 Skoda Superb, an 06 Toyota Corolla and an 03 Honda CRV. Dealers often bundle up several cars when selling them to the trade.
That seems hard for you to understand?0 -

Funny i was just talking on another thread of people on threads like this who seem to get their kicks trying to belittle people who are otherwise trying to help....0 -
Not a bad car to be honest, under rated and 100 times better than a ford Ka of the same vintage with their rotten sills & dodgy front top strut mounts to name a few.Google gives you answers use it.........0

Well, if you judge a sum of money by its relativity to your giro cheque, then yes, i guess it would be a fair top up for you.0 -
So there are bargains to be had at dealers after all (I mean you the dealer, not the dealer you bought off.+1
I sold one on Thursday - an 04 one, mint with just 14K miles. It was a sprite with alloys, electric windows, etc. No MOT but driving well, for £200. A guy bought it for his daughter - he had a look around and was budgeting £200 to put it through MOT (needed discs and pads).
Will turn out a cheap car for him, but wouldnt like to be paying £1000+
Certainly wouldn't get anything else near as new or low miles for that kinda money.0 -
Sold as seen, no warranty, spares only, no return, on the invoice?
No, full years warranty. All parts guaranteed as new. Full AA recovery included in the price. Fully tested by our team of mechanics and personally driven by the ex Head of Engineering for Rover, and a 250 page document of authenticity produced and signed in blood. Any fault will result in the immediate death of his family, and a public flogging. We dont accept failure.
Also, I've a SWAT team of Consumer Direct agents on standby, to ensure the buyer of this £200 car with no MOT are fully upheld, and i've personally moved £50,000 into a bank account specifically in case there are any problems with the car, that could mean having TATA build him a brand new one, having it shipped over here and of course sourcing Rover badges etc.
Trading standards have also been notified, and the Bill of Sale was ratified by them at an emergency board meeting convened at 23:00 hours on the night before the sale and prior to it being signed by the customer.
Also, we paid for legal advice for the customer to ensure they fully knew what the commitment of buying this car from a motor trader entitled them to.

I'd 56 hits on gumtree in 14 minutes and 7 phone calls. The first guy bought it over the phone, and picked it up 1/2 an hour later. I'd to take it off gumtree just to stop the phone ringing.
Probably needed discs and pads for MOT but i gave it a good blast on the way back to the office and it drove great.
It was maybe worth a bit more but i was happy just to move it on - we're not all thieving crooks, contrary to what Dicky72 and Sgt Pauper are saying...
