Evening Everyone
Had quite a good day, went into town after Spanish, and found where our Home Bargain store was, so that is stored away for future use. Went to Wilkinsons, and they didn't have any Stardrops, but had White Vinegar in a spray for 99p so got one of those (sure you all know this):o
Then went into Boots and got the 2for1 No 7 Suncream+ Wrap+Voucher and spent £2.50:T but they had someone on the barrier at Tesco where I parked so had to go in, have done very well must be nearly a month since I have been in, used Aldi and Lidl but not them. Forgot to look for Stardrops, and what I did buy was almost all 2-4-1, kept it to £20 (needed £10 for free car park) so quite pleased with myself, forced myself to take a basket, and once it got heavy that was it! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
But before I went back to the car, went into BHS, and picked up, a long brown skirt (suede effect), some brown jeans, two beige tops, and a vest. You would laugh, here we are with 2 GS, no debts, and I still look round for what is reduced! The skirt was reduced from £28 to £14, and £3 off the jeans, etc., total was £60:eek:  need another £10 on my card to get the 5% off, rarely manage it in the year. Going to try them on in a while, but I'm usually OK with their sizes.
Anyway enough rambling, take care all.

moggins wrote:Thanks all, it's been a weird sort of a day. DH and I seem to have accepted the split and today we have been back to being friends again, it seems so strange. Twice today I have cried with exhaustion and frustration and he cuddled me, I also apologised for something I did which could have ended badly and he cuddled me again. He's redone my CV for me and e-mailed it to himself at work so he can print it off. He's struggled all day getting DS's computer onto the internet as mine is kaput. He hugged me and wished me luck before my interview and told me he was rooting for me! He even told me I looked gorgeous.
Why couldn't any of this happened before the split? And no, before anyone says anything he still wants the divorce!
Soundslike my ex-OH too... before i moved out he was still cuddling me and wishing me luck, texting to see how my day was.. even after i left we saw each other every day or spoke on the phone.
Even now its still cuddles and really close friends when i see him. he has completey changed his ways now ive left too.. all the things that contributed to why we split up.. like not paying bills, smoking cannabis every day, not doing any housework... generally being lazy selfish layabout.... all changed!!
Hes now the man i always wanted him to be.. the person he was when we first met. I get really upset it took me leaving for him to change back...And he still doesnt wanna be togetherBut then i realise it all happens for a reason and somewhere down the line it will all become clear why it happened.
(does pee you off the way they suddenly change though doesnt it??  )0 -
hi everyone.
Bargain babe That's so sad I hope your cat is ok.
Penny PincherThose complaints are brilliant! I've printed them off and I'm going to take them into the staffroom at lunchtime tomorrow, as we enjoy a good laugh.
Not much to report today. I made smoothies with the kids today at school and about half of them really enjoyed them while the others either refused to try them or didn't like them.
I'm off to bed soon as I can't keep my eyes open, hurray it's Friday tomorrow! :j0 -
