These are genuine clips from council complaint letters:
1. My bush is really overgrown round the front and my back passage
has fungus growing in it
2. He's got this huge tool that vibrates the whole house and I just
can't take it anymore.
3. It's the dogs mess that I find hard to swallow.
4. I want some repairs done to my cooker as it has backfired and
burnt my knob off.
5. I wish to complain that my father hurt his ankle very badly when
he put his foot in the hole in his back passage.
6. And their 18 year old son is continually banging his balls against
my fence.
7. I wish to report that tiles are missing from the outside toilet
roof. Ithink it was bad wind the other night that blew them off.
8. My lavatory seat is cracked, where do I stand?
9. I am writing on behalf of my sink, which is coming away from the
wall.
10. Will you please send someone to mend the garden path. My wife
tripped and fell on it yesterday and now she is pregnant.
11. I request permission to remove my drawers in the kitchen 12.50%
of the walls are damp, 50% have crumbling plaster and 50% are plain
filthy.
13. I am still having problems with smoke in my new drawers.
14. The toilet is blocked and we cannot bath the children until it is
cleared.
15. Will you please send a man to look at my water, it is a funny
colour and not fit to drink.
16. Our lavatory seat is broken in half and is now in three pieces.
17. I want to complain about the farmer across the road; every
morning at 6am his ccok wakes me up and its now getting too much for me.
18. The man next door has a large erection in the back garden, which
unsightly and dangerous.
19. Our kitchen floor is damp. We have two children and would like a
third so please send someone round to do something about it.
20. I am a single woman living in a downstairs flat and would you
please do something about the noise made by the man on top of me
every night.
21. Please send a man with the right tool to finish the job and
satisfy my wife.
22. I have had the clerk of works down on the floor six times but I
still have no satisfaction.
23. This is to let you know that our lavatory seat is broke and we
can't get BBC2.

Lovely sunny here today, have cleaned whole house and went out to lunch with my dad which was a nice surprise.
Cant make up my mind between chillin on the sofa or getting on with more paperwork - think rubbish daytime telly is calling me.
Tonight have DD's parent evening but have about 10 mins to kill between each appointment - that will be fun.
Well think will catch the end of neighbours.
Have a great day.0 -
Afternoon everyone! I've just collected my TV from the repair shop - fingers crossed that it'll be working. Been to the farm shop, and got 2 huge bags of fruit and veg, so veggie curry for tea.
Should be tidying the house, but the weather is soooooo lovely, that I'm out in the garden for a couple of hours. Think I'll plant some chillis, peppers, cucumber, and a few flowers.

Woke up this morning at 5a.m. as DD (13) had been very sick - eventually after five bouts of vomiting she felt a little bit better.
She is now eating dry toast and keeping down liquids.
Will make something quick for tea - probably pasta or egg fried rice.
Even better - filled tortillas! Just remembered we have a packet of them!"This site is addictive!"

Elona, I currently going through a phase of putting chilli into tortilla wraps. I also enjoy bacon sandwiches with Doritos hot salsa in them (white bread of course).
This dark, wet weather really makes you feel the need for comfort food doesnt it??

Hi everyone!
Pennypincher....brilliant and a lot of it seems rather familiar mentioning no names:D
Not as much OS today achieved as had hoped because we had an inadvertent liein when OH forgot to set the alarm:eek: Have got dark load done and out and the house hoovered [at high speed and more of a lick than a promise!] Tea tonight will be a suprise as am off up to my parents:j followed on a by coffee with a friend. Am hoping that my order from the book people will have arrived today...10 paperbacks of unusual true tales for £9.99 which I intend to snaffle away into my pressie box.
OH and I have been comparing our use of leccy and gas since the redundancy 2 years ago and are quite surprised how much it's dropped. It's been lots of small measures but they all add up. My next project is to have a good look at the supermarket challenge and try to source more of my shopping from elsewhere other than Mr T. Have started this week by buying all my milk from Wilko
Hope you enjoy the rest of your days
