Evening everyone :hello:
Happy birthday to jockettuk!
:rotfl: at Penny Pincher - and good luck with the new cleaner!
I put some more items on ebay last night, but I've only got one watcher so far. Ah well..... Early days yet. The items were only going to get put in the car boot box.
I had a lovely day doing supply in one of my favourite schools. They really are so friendly, and the children are getting to know me too. After work, I popped into Peterborough and found that Stationery Box are closing down (because they are in administration) and have a fab sale on. 4 large padded envelopes for £1.12 - so I got 2 packs for my ebaying. Then, funky post-its for 28p a pack, so I got hearts and speech bubbles.Goodness only knows when I'll use the post-its, but they're funky, so erm........... erm.......
Supper tonight is a tuna salad. DH "reminded" me at the weekend that he's invited a friend round for supper tomorrow night. Hmmm, seems to be the first time I've been told about it. I'm doing chilli con carne AGAIN, but at least it's quite easy, quite tasty and we always seem to have some left over to put in the freezer.
Just realised that I have another interview next Thursday . I'm not expecting to get it as they want a drama and music specialist....... and I'm definitely neither. I suppose you've got to be a little dramatic to be a teacher, but that's beside the point!
Anyway, DH has just phoned to say that he's 20 mins away, so I need to chop the pepper and tomatoes for the salad.

sorry moggins about the job - why not commiserate with a date
What makes you think Mrs Mix is going to stop posting Shez I couldnt find anything - she was posting the quiz today in the arms?
Anyway I got the car back without anybody sneering (although the nets were twitcing a bit so I can imagine the local gossip :rotfl: ) Need to plan some good tv viewing tonight with the boards closing at 10.30:eek: Moggins does he have a friend

Good Evening All
pen-pin hope the cleaner turns out well for you
moggins well .......what I can say! Keep your options open, and like you say just enjoy the benefits from the male company! Dont be to hard on yourself ref the job, it took me ages, to find the job Im doing now, the right one will come along soon!
DD not feeling too well, temperature and sore throat & head ache!
Had another team meeting at work today with the MD. Last month I got £50bonus. This month I shared it with another girl. Fingers crossed for next month!
So far so good - ebay seems quiet! Cant be doing with another repeat of last nights performance! It was so scarey! But (hopefully) its sorted now, and my pc has been reset and passwords changed!
Anyway, off to run the bath now, think an early night is in store for me!
I liked the pop quiz! I read the questions, keep them coming. It certainly got my brain ticking over.
Like it was mentioned, doing it on a regular basis is a great idea. Perhaps do another quiz of song lyrics!
Catch you later
Bye for now

Thanks all, it's been a weird sort of a day. DH and I seem to have accepted the split and today we have been back to being friends again, it seems so strange. Twice today I have cried with exhaustion and frustration and he cuddled me, I also apologised for something I did which could have ended badly and he cuddled me again. He's redone my CV for me and e-mailed it to himself at work so he can print it off. He's struggled all day getting DS's computer onto the internet as mine is kaput. He hugged me and wished me luck before my interview and told me he was rooting for me! He even told me I looked gorgeous.
Why couldn't any of this happened before the split? And no, before anyone says anything he still wants the divorce!Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Evening all,
Made brownies last night and they were yummmmmmy. Everyone at work loved them, so now I am resident baker and will probably be making a new thing every week. Better get the old Kenwood fixed then...
When OH fell off his bike the other week, he busted the front forks, so took it to the shop to be fixed. They said it would be ready on the 22nd Feb and would cost £40 - it was only ready today (he has actually had to ring them to chase it) and its cost £112!!! So I have told him to go and complain very strongly on Saturday - if they don't acknowledge being completely in the wrong, he'll just let them sell the bike for him and buy a new one (his friend has offered him one for £30). But really!!!
Don't have much going on tonight, just sat here reading the forums before they go down...will go and have a shower in a minute. Probably won't be around tomorrow evening as I am off out.
Have a good one :beer:We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -

I dont think anyone would agreed at £112 repair, new bikes are less than that.!Member #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0
