    Morning everyone

Another gorgeous sunny day here (it does rain sometimes, honest). Off to dig the allotment today, if I don't get going we will never have home-grown veg this year.

    Back to de-cluttering this afternoon.

Have a good day whatever you are doing

    Good Morning
    Happy Birthday Jockettuk

No work today. Picking my mum up at 9:30 and we are off to Costco and Sainsburys.

Need to remember to pop to the Post Office on the way. Meant to do it last week and forgot

Loads to do in the house. Have a pile of ironing to do and it really needs done as I am starting to run out of clothes

All rooms need a severe going over. Sometimes it feels like it never ends

Off for a quick browse before I get ready to leave :D

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Morning everyone! Lovely sunny day here by the seaside!

I have to take the car in for MOT but the garage mentioned a couple of weeks ago that it should sail through when I got the car serviced, so fingers crossed.

Me and OH have both received surprised cheques in the post. Mine was over £100 from Britannia for their profitshare and OH's was from the tax-man. What lovely surprises :T

Have managed to get rid of a pile of greenhouse glass, wooden pallet, leftover tiles from the kitchen tiling job and a handful of giant sunflowers that I had got fed up with! All found new homes through freecycle. Its great to have a clear out in the conservatory and garden.

Work is very quiet for me, which I don't like really. I am going to spend the time learning a couple of new products in case I need to find something else to do.

I have a flat pack to put together tonight with OH - chest of drawers! Wish me luck!!!

    Have a great day everyone!
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

Just had some good news, somebody has been charged with the armed robbery that my car was used in last year. Really pleased as there was quiet alot of violence used against a security guard. Aparently hes looking at 20+ years.

    Morning all :hello:

    Happy Birthday JockettUK

(((hugs))) to everyone poorly or unhappy or needing one

Another lovely day today - sunny with a light frost. I love time time of year.
I am doing general housework today, plus maybe a bit of weeding...
This afternoon I need to go back to the doc as I have a chest inflamation, and the medication he gave me last week is not working.
If the weather is still so nice I'll walk up and back.

OH is still not sure what to do about his new job that he hates. He has a meeting with his boss today to try and work things out. He is still liking the idea of seeling up, moving to wales and getting a little convenience store
    I think he'll get bored...
I wont though! I'd love it!
Ah well - we'll see if he and his boss can work something out or if he resigns today

    Morning all

Snowy It's lovely to see you.

Penpin that's great news on the finance front!

Well this week couldn't get any more crazy for me, I have just been asked out on a date!!!! Not that I am going to go but it was a real boost for the ego. :D The guy is really lovely too!! I just don't think I want to get involved with a man again, my best friend suggested I just keep him as a friend with benefits :D

I have butterflies in my stomach about this interview but I really really hope I get it, I just hope being at home for 6 years won't spoil my chances. Just having a sit down and a coffee before I start to get ready.

Oh lord I knew I missed something out!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOCKETT

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just popped on quickly to say good morning! I am off to the gym for a swim, going with friend so if anyone snubs me I shan't care too much, still don't understand it though!

DD home at weekend so must think of some calorie high favourite foods for her though definately not for me! OH has 2 extractions today so it will be very quiet around here!

((((Hugs))) to Moggins, Ticklemouse, Mrs Mix and anyone else who needs them.

Breakfast - low fat yogurt, handful oats, banana and tsp honey
Lunch - Bacon and alfalfa(home sprouted!) mushroom wholemeal sandwich
Dinner - Pot roasted chicken and steamed french beans (SW) hm cream of veg soup for OH.

  • Moggins - what you've got to remember is although you've *only* been at home for 6 years, you have done accounting (the household budget), you've organised your work load (housework) among many other great things. Good luck!!

Penny-Pincher - well done on getting your money!!

    Happy Birthday JockettUK

Snowy - great to see you back :D

Another day at work, not very organised on the home front at the mo, but DH is going fishing on Saturday so hopefully that'll give me a fighting chance to get some order into my home.

Managed to get some Golden Circle George Michael tickets for Wembley Stadium in June - so I'm ecstatic about that :j

Lunch is a tin of soup  Tea tonight will probably be a roast as the chicken is nearing it's date

Have a great day one and all
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
