a bit frosty here but should make for a fine day, managed to take ds1 for his clinic yesterday but the parking is awful at the hospital i would have been surprised if there was room for a pushbike and thats with the new carpark open, luckily i can park at my aunts across the road while kyle took dgs1 to hosp, but it meant i had to take dgs3 in to see said aunt and he just loves expensive ornaments  being nearly two he is into everything

    Happy Birthday Jockett x

I have my work cut out today! Its my only day off in the week, and I have so much flying to do im going to have to dig out the fly thread and join in just for the day. I was hoping to get a haircut at some point today, but alas it looks like I might have to wait till next week ,as I have to wait in for a delivery  :wall:

Im gettting better, I feel more alive, but my shoulders are hurting, all this driving I think is the problem & the way I have my car seat set.

Got a curry out of the freezer for tea today, it doesnt look even like Ill have time to cook, I have so much to do :( a day off PAH! What Id really like is to lie around and cathc up on some reading and generally pottering- alas I dont think its going to happen!!!!

Oh well a girl can dream!

hughs to all, and happy birthday jockett!

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Didn't like the flat I saw yesterday. Hoping to get a second viewing on one I do like later today.

Mum went back to hospital yesterday afternoon by order of the doctor and has to go back this morning for a scan and they might keep her in. Seems we're going back instead of forward.

Really can't be bothered to do any work today. I've busted a gut the last couple of days and have run out of steam.

No idea what I'll do for dinner, probably something involving pasta. Resorted to take away last night as we didn't leave the hospital till 7.40pm.

    Hope everyone's ok

I hope we are ok, sorry I didnt get the chance to come on here yesterday. I hope I didnt miss anything important!

I had a nightmare of a night, trying to sort my ebay account out. someone from america hacked into it. Took me nearly 6 hrs to sort it out. They was listing things like mad (turbo lister). In the end my sellers fees went up to a staggering £1,458.06 Luckily I wouldn't have to pay that, and got it all stopped and reimbursed back to me. But it certainly shook me up!

Then I reset my tool bars, and totally lost the one I normally use (to access my outlook express emails), so now Ive got to reset the whole pc to a week ago! I dont know how to do it, so sadly Ive asked my EX for help!

Kids have been bickering, so every night when we plan to go to toys-r-us, it gets cancelled!

Hope today at work is much better, I had a night mare yesterday, then having to come home to sort ebay out!

Anyway, off to get some cereals, and read the morning thread.

    Have a good day everyone
    Take care

    Morning Guys!

I received my cheque from Natwest this morning:beer: :j  ....I am so pleased:D

WM is on, DW has been emptied and toilet cleaned. OH is going to strip the beds later as the new cleaner starts this evening, so that will be another load or 2 of washing to do.

I am totally resting today as the last few days have really taken it out of me. My essay is done;) which was the main thing and hopefully the cleaner issue has now been sorted. Still havent heard from the other agency though regarding my fees back:confused:

Some of the money is going to be used for: 3 new doors upstairs-will just get the cheapie ones from B&Q and wax them to go with the rest of my furniture, then wardrobe doors made with MDF and routed by BIL:confused: ...apparently it will be loads cheaper than proper sliding doors. So thats about £200 already gone:o ...maybe tidy the back garden up..Im not sure, but dont want to waste it.

Going to sisters on Saturday as is folks anniversary and have managed to pick them up some lovely pressies cheaply:D I bought a personalised folk art plaque from Ebay from DD...its lovely (£9), got mum her Hermes body lotion with vouchers from Xmas (you dont even wanna know how much that was:eek:    )...a lavender soothing posh candle (JL reduced to £2), dad a reduced M&S shirt (£5), some reduced smellies (£2)...and 2 plant pot holders they wanted (£30 but used £20 in nectar points:D )...so actual cash spent £28.00.

Sister is much better now after the hysterectomy, but her and her husband are on the verge of seperating and she has 2 young children (one with special needs)...but TBH...she will be much better without him. He has emotionally destroyed her...for instance..the day before her op..he suggested trying for another baby:mad: ...he has racked up 45k of debt with nothing to show for it in 5 years.....god..I could go on and on but i wont! Lets change the subject:rotfl:

Guess what I have for dinner tonight?

    Hugs to all.

    PP

    Morning All

Been at work for the last few days.
Happy Birthday to JockettUK and good luck to Moggins.

Need to get organised this morning as the house is still looking like a bombs gone off. Also need to do a food invertory as with me being ill the budget has gone out of the window. Need to make some what food we have left stretch until 20th when DH gets paid.

Later on I need to go to town and get the money back on DD's shoes. I'm not impressed as I found a ridge sticking up into the sole of her foot.

    Have a good day everyone

    Good morning all:hello:

So nice to have you open the thread, Snowy!! Feels quite like old times:D :D
Good luck with the furniture hunting!!! Still you've done the important bit. The guest room is ready for you VVIP visitors:T :rotfl: ;) You'll enjoy that!:D
:bdaycake: Happy Birthday JockettUK!!!! Hope you have a lovely day.

Crazychik, glad you've got that lot sorted. What a nightmare! Been meaning to PM you. I've tried the baked apples and the pork chops in sauce from that book you e-mailed, both were very good.:D

I'm off to get my hair cut this morning. I really hate going but it's such a mop and as I keep it shortish it needs doing every 6-8 weeks. Managed 6and a half this time. Having to have a new girl today, because my regular is giving up. She has done my hair once before, but I hate breaking in a new stylist, it's such an effort:rotfl: :rotfl:

It's another bright sunny day here, really does feel quite spring-like. Might even get out into the garden when I get back, the dusts not going anywhere is it?:D

Good luck to the job hunters. You've an interview today haven't you moggins?

Get well to those still feeling poorly and ((((((((((hugs))))))))) for the taking.

Nearly forgot, well done catowen on your debt repayment. Bet it feels good!

Must fly now, I'm not even showered and dressed yet:eek:

    CMxx

edited to say PenPen how can paying in too much invalidate the account? Seems madness to me. What a stingy interest rate, no wonder you've closed it!!!!!!!!

Pen-Pin sorry to hear about your sister, great news about your cheque.

Kyle forgot to mention the other day, well done on those cards!

I cant access my email at mo, nor any other site, think its my anti-virus stopping me! So I cant check ebay to see if things are ok and have settled.

    This is so frustrating!

Thank CM for the recipe recomendations. Ive got a couple more to respond to to forward the recipes, but like I say, cant access emails at the mo to do it.
