    some people!!!

    I had a parcel come through wrapped with a barratts shoe (see through bag!!) and the item had baby goo on!!! yuk!!! I emailed the seller and she apologised and offered a refund if I return the item!! so I just washed the coat and left her a postive as she was so nice about it and genuine!! - now I could have left her a nad feedback before contacting but I gave her a chance! why can't they all be like me!! ;)

    I left some feedback yesterday and was hesitating over what star to leave for sellers who never contacted me at all and just sent the item. It doesn't really bother me that some sellers don't let me know item is on its way but I wasn't sure whether I should reflect that in my stars.

    I send an email via the Ebay 'contact buyer' button, I assumed that this would get to AOL accounts if they have set themselves up on Ebay - am I wrong?

    Even emails via the contact button on ebay don't reach aol buyers for me. I'm with Virgin/NTL and they have not been talking to aol for ages.

    I'm on AOL - and yes emails sent that way do arrive!

    Maybe it is a local server thing then only when I had a dispute recently the only way I could contact my seller who was on aol, was by telephoning. Incidentally I rarely get bounce notices, the emails get sent and they just disappear into the ether.

    I switched to gmail for this reason, I rarely get 'bounced' now. If you want an 'invite' for a gmail account let me know.

    you dont need an invite anymore to get a gmail account....
