Just filled in feedback for a seller (successful transaction). Regarding the star rating thingy it says the seller wont get to see this. So whats the point?? Does anyone see it? Didnt bother with it anyway. Too much like hard work.

once 10 buyers have rated a seller the average scores will be displayed for all to see
the seller wont be able to see who has rated them what scores though just the average scores from 10 or more detailed ratings0 -
This is what it looks like on a couple of sellers who have reached the target:

Someone's just left me a neutral because the padded envelope I sent their item out in was A00 instead of A000 and they thought it was too large

Bang goes my perfect 5* rating on the second day then!

I really think some buyers need to be a bit more realistic, I had a buyer return an item stated as 'good' with all the faults listed, purely because the buyer was upset it wasn't brand new!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. some people have got nothing better to do than moan  so long as the item arrived safely at its destination in good time and was packaged well whats their problem
proper prior planning prevents !!!!!! poor performance!

I sold a bumper bag of used 3-6m baby clothes on ebay, 54 items in total. I had an email saying would it be OK to collect them in person - yes, fine, saves me a trip to the post office.
The lady won - at the hige price of £2.50! OK, so it's £2.50 more than I would have got if I'd taken them to a charity shop. She came, gave me the £2.50 and left. I left her positive feedback and left it at that.
That evening I got quite a rude email saying that she was very disappointed, all the clothes had been used (yes, as per description!) and she wasn't going to leave feeback because it would be negative!
I emailed her saying bring them back, she can have her £2.50 back and I'll take them to a charity shop where they will be appreciated.
£2.50 for 54 items of baby clothes (some of which were designer brands and would have fetched more than that on their own if I'd advertised them individually which I wish I had) and then she complains! Some people!
I really wish I hadn't been so quick in leaving positive feedback. Won't be so quick next time.0 -

Thanks for that funky monkey, I was wondering what it looked like in practice.
I'm worried about mine, I had feedback last night from someone, a positive, but who said as part of it 'post reasonable'. To me reasonable only sounds middling, as in not good so I wonder if he marked me down a star because of it. Thing is I charged £1.70 post and packing and the stamps alone were £1.39 and the large jiffy bag approx 19p so I was hardly being excessive as it was a book and took quite a bit of extra wrapping for the corners.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
