Have you had a reason why its taking so long to sort?

For the overpayment form no. Bearing in mind they go to a totally different department from the renewals I can only assume that it was down to the amount of post.

Then again I was advised to send another form off which I did 3 weeks ago as I was advised that it should only take 10 days, so no-one actually knows if it was the first form or the second one. Either way it was a long 10 days
  • I received my pack today. I rang up initially because I made a trading loss so I thought I had to fill in another form. Turned out it was as simple as deducting it from my employed income. I found there were a lot more questions this year but saying that, I had to do a change of circumstances for employment and earnings so it could have been that. A few months ago I was asked to provide proof of my payments for childcare. They didn't contact my childminder. When I rang them to clarify the documents needed I was told if I had a letter from my childminder on letter headed paper, confirming she looks after my son and how I have paid and will pay until 5th April. Within a week of sending the letter off I had one back saying all was ok and that was that. I'll pop back if I hear (or don't hear) of anything.

I haven't received my pack but I do need to tell them about a change in circumstance - should I still phone them as I would any other time of year?:j
