Still awaiting mine, called the other day and it hadn't been issued yet. I'm concerned as I was overpaid by quite a bit last month (I have childcare).

I am also due a potential payment. I read somewhere that if you have been overpaid so far this year that the lump sum won't be a lump sum and that it will be spread throughout the year, can anyone clarify this? If so why do thwy do this? I would be gutted if this happened as we had planned to use the money to put towards a much needed new family car with the lump sum.

caz246 that happened to me, i was waiting for a lump sum but due to having just got my 4 weekly payment prior to it being renewed they have added it on to this years award.

It wasn't that I had been overpaid this year but due to the way the system calculates rates on a daily basis.

Aw no :( we were relying on that lump sum (it's for a few grand). Suppose we shouldn't have got our hopes up but I had no idea that we wouldn't get as a lump sum :(

I'm due a payment tomorrow so I've got weeks to receive the renewal so fingers crossed it comes soon.

dont know if anyone has put in a new claim but i sent off forms 3 weeks ago and not heard anything yet. Rang a couple of days ago and automated message said not to call back until July! I cant actually get to speak to anyone human
My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say ;)
    Ignore......check!

If you want to speak to a real person, you could choose the option for payments, that is what I usually do and I have never had anyone be grumpy at me beacuse I have called earlier than advised. HTH
