Hiya
Is anyone else been waiting over 6 weeks?
I was told not to call until 4th July...which i did...the they told me someone would call me within 3 days but no one did....when I rang today they said its now taking 10 days for people to get call backs
I really don't understand what the hold up is and they dont explain anything to me...I am really worrying as I can't budget anything...
Is anyone else in the same boat? I don't even understand who is calling me back and why?
I gave them the correct figure from my p60 (minus my mat allowance £100 deducted per week for 39 weeks as I was on mat leave last year) I din't claim childcare last financial year, just from May this year when I went back to work so I am very confused...
Please someone help I am stressing so much over this...every other time I have renewed it has taken a matter of days
Thanks0 -
I know two people who have been waiting 11 weeks since they renewed and have called to chase and told nothing's been processed0

I am single with childcare and renewed 9 weeks ago. I called last week and was told everything looks ok but my earnings were not captured which may have happened when scanned (posted renewal), so I gave my p60 info again and was told I should get my paperwork this week. I called this week and was told it has not been finalised and there is a big backlog and lots of checking is going on all claims. I was told they are checking my earnings to the tax office records. This is the longest time I have waited for it to be finalised, even when I had a compliance check last year it didn't take as long.Mortgage Feb 2015 £178,500 END 2043!!
MFW 2015 £100 /£1000
Watch this space, my MF end date will tumble!!0 -
The wait is ridiculous!! We finally got the forms after so many calls and we have bills to pay!! 4 weeks since they halted OUR MONEY.
Grrrrrrr!0 -
I have just applyed for the first time.
i have been in my job three weeks, I don't get paid till the end of July and my childcare is £174 a week. Work gave me £400 on account to help with childcare.
It took two weeks to get the claim form. They have had it a week.
How long do they take to process a new claim?
If this doesnt get sorted soon i will not be able to continue working.
Before anyone thinks i am lazy i have worked since i was 15 i am 41 now. I have just adopted a baby which is why i have changed to part time.0 -

I sent mine beginning of last week, I rang this week just to confirm they had it and asked if they had looked at it and the girl said it should be at the end of t.his week, so hopefully they have checked everything, mind I had to send allsorts of paperwork, feel like they are invading my privacy. I will ring again next week to see if its been checked, by then it will have been 12 weeks since I renewed, just want it to be sorted now, its taking forever. You should call them to see why its taking so long and if there are any problems0 -

I don't want to ring them lol. What did you have to send them? Are you still receiving your payments?0 -

I send them childcare contract, childcare receipts, child benefit info, bank statements, mortgage statements, p60, pay slips, gas/elec/telephone/sky bills plus a few other bits that I cant remember, everything from Jan-April this year, I cant see there being any problem with my claim just want get it sorted. Yes I am still getting my payments weekly as normal are you? I am going to ring them again next week for an update.0
