has anyone else not recieved there renewal pack yet, should i start to worry.....thanks in advance

No didn't get mine either. They seem to be in chaos.

Rang up, took over half an hour of waiting (thankfully i called from work ;) ). Gave them the figures over the phone. Would have prefered to do it on paper or online but if they don't send a form....

Person on the other end sounded really depressed and knackered -
You can get used to this declining service as the Govt grinds the public sector into the ground.

i am the same, usual payment day is wed, but on friday past i got a smaller payment, so i am assuming my award has also been finalised :j

just 2 weeks after i posted mine back, i would hope for the paperwork tomorrow or thurs, just less than a week behind the payment, but i am not sure

    Hey Piglet74,

Have you received your paperwork yet? My usual Thursday payment went in today (slightly higher amount), but I wish the paperwork would hurry up & get here, so I can see if next week's is going to be lower/the same ;)

no paper work yet, tho i am at work and maybe its come today,
will update when i check later,

i think from previous experince, your weekly amount will be less than your extra payment, mine was, by just a few ££, but overall my payment has dropped by £30 a week,
  • Thanks. I received an extra payment (£13) on Tuesday, then today's payment, which was a few quid more than usual (but I did earn a lot less last year than expected), so I'm not sure if the £13 is what I'm owed from last year or an extra payment for this year (if my award has increased). Will just have to wait for the paperwork :)

Hello everyone - 10 Weeks on how bazar never ever experiened this length of time before every time i ring just get told its waiting to be dealt with, If they are checking information which is fine they could do this after finaliling last years tax credits and renewing this year at least then if you have been over paid it is dealt with and would at least lift a little bit of pressure from you. But hey its the goverment system so most probabaly not clever enough

Took us a month just to get the papers (for a new claim due to addition to household) and payments have been halted. Fun times!

Yes and may be altered if you don't meet the criteria - Eg need to work increased hours etc.

Nope, no increased hours of as yet. Given they have my NI number and told us to call back once I'm employed to report change in circumstances. When that happens we will and everything will be changed accordingly and we'll all live happily ever after.

There's no such thing as "need to work increased hours."

single parents are permitted to work 16 hours a week - married couples are expected to work more hours eg 24 in order to qualify.

How they judge this with regard to yourself I do not know.

Called to renew on Monday, have had a large sum paid into my account today! VERY quick. It's less than the original potential payment on our last award notice but they have been overpaying us since April so kind of expected it to be lower. Just need to await paperwork now to see how they've worked it out and what our payments will be for rest of the year.
