Is anyone else been waiting over 6 weeks?
I was told not to call until 4th July...which i did...the they told me someone would call me within 3 days but no one did....when I rang today they said its now taking 10 days for people to get call backs
I really don't understand what the hold up is and they dont explain anything to me...I am really worrying as I can't budget anything...
Is anyone else in the same boat? I don't even understand who is calling me back and why?
I gave them the correct figure from my p60 (minus my mat allowance £100 deducted per week for 39 weeks as I was on mat leave last year) I din't claim childcare last financial year, just from May this year when I went back to work so I am very confused...
Please someone help I am stressing so much over this...every other time I have renewed it has taken a matter of days
Thanks
Nearly 12 weeks for mine, Ive sent loads of paperwork to compliance office which they have had for 2 weeks now going to ring for an update. No one has ever told me anyone would ring me back, I would ring them again for an update. Fingers crossed its sorted for you soon.0 -

I'm glad yours is sorted are they sending you a letter out or anything0 -
Hi, I renewed on the 23rd April - 11 weeks ago on Monday. I rang back on week 4, when I was told to if I hadn't heard anything to be told that they had the given my the wrong date for it to have been processed by. I then rang at 6 weeks (the revised date) and was told that I would receive a call back after 3 days - no call came so I rang 2 weeks later (8 weeks) and told that there was no reason they could see why it was taking so long, my renewal was not being checked nor did they need any other information from me but they would refer my renewal again and I would receive a call in 3 days (!!!) unsurprisingly no call came this time either.
I last called at 10 weeks (last week) and spoke to a lovely fella who was really helpful he put me on hold (for 20 mins!) whilst both him and his supervisor tried to *force* my renewal through but they had no luck, he was really apologetic when he said that all he could do was refer my renewal again. What did worry me about the whole conversation was 'well at least your payments haven't stopped yet!!!!'
So I am no further on, and I am aware of quite a few others that are in the same position, and a relatively small number of people have been asked for more information. I did ask my last advisor if I should just send a load of information in just in case, but he thought that would just over complicate things.
I am just playing the waiting game now, but do worry that my payments might stop which would be more than a little hassle for my family but the biggest issue I have (and it isn't TC fault) is that my granddad was really ill when I renewed and I rushed to get my renewal done when it came so that I could concentrate on him (I always dread talking to TC), unfortunately he died shortly after and I feel like this is the last 'loose end' that I need to tie up from that horrible period of time - I know this sounds silly but for some reason I can not separate the events!
Through work I deal with a lot of people who claim tax credits and I hear from people who are having problems with their renewal on a daily basis, so even though it feels personal it's not.

Hi just a renewal reward letter, she said it looked like my payments would stay the same so will have to wait and see when my money goes in my account. Hope yours will be sorted soon for you too, mine has taken 12 weeks, it normally takes days to sort.0 -

HI there, I was told the same when I asked how my claim was getting on a few weeks back...they said it was in the final process...then i received a letter from the B & C Complience Operations asking for proof of child care and bank statements for jan to march this year...I've lost sleep as I know they have overpaid me for child care by about £1000, I can't stop worrying as the letter is quite harsh, i'm sending the proof tomorrow but am really worried they are going to procecute me...has anyone else heard from them after sending in proof?0

So you already know you have been o/p before being told......just as well you were selected for checks otherwise who knows how much extra you would have claimed.0
