Mine is a single claim and childcare but i have had no letters at all i have rung them and they have said its just being processed i asked if i needed to send naything in and they said no so completley confused
  • Its been nearly 9 weeks since I renewed. I rang asking if my claim had been processed, I have been told a letter has been sent to me asking for evidence, I asked if it was regarding childcare but the man said it didn't state what evidence was required just that it had to be back to them by 13th July.

I have yet to receive mine, joint claim 1 child with childcare. This is my 1st year for renewal as I only started claiming last April. I wish it would hurry up though as I'm being overpaid and I have a potential payment.

Form finally arrived today! Renewal already done by telephone. Told to wait until end of July if no further letters before contacting.
This was clearly the pack issued after I rang to chase it.

  • Wee Update from me

Posted forms back on 25/05/12 no childcare and a joint claim with 3 kids. Got my paperwork through this morning.

Have phoned them with my OH's finalised wages as i had to estimate and I'm expecting a small lump sum payment now that its done.

Wasn't half as bad as I thought :)

Well I only claim child tax credit for my 3 kids which is not dependent on salary right? Yesterday my payment was slashed from £81 per week to £18!? Why would that be? I returned my renewal on 28/05/12.

I haven't received a renewal form for my working tax credits - I don't have any children and am self-employed. It says the deadline for people like me to have their pack is June 13th, so I'm very worried.

I moved home in Nov 2011 and wrote to tell them this. When I didn't receive a renewal pack by May 29th I wrote to them again by RD checking if they had the correct address. No reply. Last week I phoned (I was on hold for an hour) and was told another pack would be sent out (they'd sent the previous one to an address that was so wrong I think someone made it up).
I've also experienced problems with getting a tax return - which I need to renew my working tax credits. IMHO HMRC is a shambles and staff may even be doing a work to rule and that's why they're messing so many people about.

I've sent in a complaint to the complaints manager because I don't see why I should lose out on money and have so much stress and anxiety because of their repeated failures. I don't understand why changing address - I move from one street in a small town to another can cause so much problems.
I hope anybody else who is still waiting gets theirs sorted out.
