Got my renewals form the other week then a day later a letter wanting all my childcare bills and bank statements.
My claim includes childcare for two children.0 -

Well I still haven't heard anything so I eventually called on Thursday, I renewed on 23rd April and was initially told to call back after 21st may and then after 4th June.
When I called on Thursday they apologised that it hadn't been dealt within the timescale they gave me, confirmed nothing was holding it up - no random check, missing info etc. I was told that someone from 'head office' would call me back within three working days so I'm just waiting for that call.
So I'm no further on, I'm not holding my breath for it to get resolved anytime soon they are obviously under a lot of pressure.
Oh well the wait continues.

I haven't had a renewal pack yet!0

Im still waiting been about a fortnight now but I posted mine back so probably why taking longer coz I've bk reading about those who are renewing and are hearing within a week!! I haven't phoned for update and have just had a thought that they might not have received the form!! Do you think I should ring??? Or is it an absolute nightmare to get through!! #hateringingatbestoftimes:mad:0

well they eventually sorted it out today. but fuming cause despite paying at extra £200 a year in childcare they won't adjust my reward as it's not more then £10 a week what I initially declared.
Well we just won't eat for 2 months then. Thanks tax credits.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
How long did you wait chickywiggle?? This renewal process is the same every year puts you off claiming at all. Your always worried u are gonna get an op even though u have told them throughout the year of any change of circumstance!! Xx0

My renewal pack came Monday, I telephoned to give my figures as self employed. It took 13 minutes on the phone and I got my award letters through today.
No childcare just child and working tax which have both come in at only £7 a week lower than last year with a £4000 income increaseLife is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -

straight thro this morning (on the dot of 8am). :j
they asked such stupid questions and triple checked you'd worked stuff out properly ("yes funnily enough i followed the instructions you'd sent":
example question 1: "why are you calling?"............. hmm lets see - i've rung the renewal line, i've gone thro the renew menu..... hmm...... ohh that's right i wanted to order a pizza.
only bonus was they are gonna pass my change of bank details over to child benefit so that i don't have to phone them too.
roll on september for my next phone call
they've said i should know by 6th july if not phone back.
they double paid me when i changed details last time (one on friday then again on the monday) so have been looking at £300 in my savngs account for last few months incase they demand it back! any idea if it's safe to spend it once renewal is comfirmed if they don't ask?? after this can i claim they did not ask and pay it back at £x a month instead of all in full?loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored.
