Goodmorning everybody,
Lovely sunny day here as well. Went up to Callander yesterday. Bought something for DGS as it's his 2nd birthday on the 22nd and will post it off this morning. I also found some sneakers for walking the trails for 7 quid. Thought that was pretty good. XDIL wrote to me yesterday, extra long letter all about DGS. It was wonderful.
He's doing great with potty training. Wearing training pants during the day and only nappies at night. Not many accidents either. He's starting to string words into a sentence now as well. Still not saying Granny though :rolleyes:Says Poppa all the time. Maybe he's got us mixed up.
Catowen Well done on your debt reduction. It is great to see progress isn't it.
Snowy How does the new carpet look? Pictures please.
Not that I can talk, been meaning to post pics of our finished house for ages.
Well off to shower and head up to the PO. I've just discovered yum yums and they are so yummy. Think I will buy one and have it for morning tea. Are they fattening? No, I didn't think so.
Have a great day all. ByeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning all!
Am grotty today, my nose is full, although I keep blowing it, and I ache all over, so no work today. I feel really bad, but i can't physically get there, so can't do much about it! Hope I feel better tomorrow, have had to reschedule after school detentions and everything. Blah.
Might try a *little* housework today although energy is very low. Need to call the local dog training people to see if I can get our pup booked up... how much, when to start etc. Think that's one thing I need to do, and also need to find out what is going on with our water rates.
Hope you all have a good day, it looks really nice out there xx

Lovley sunny morning here, just waiting for washer to finish and will get it on the line, feeling all happy and positive this morning which im slightly worried about, everything seems to be going our way at the minute which it never ever does normally, car passing its mot first time, geting bank charges back, debts going down faster than we excpected, Maybe my luck is changing?? I flipping hope so.!!
Well done Catowen on clearing those debts, feels great when you make a final payment on things doesnt it!!
Hugs to everyone else.
Hope you all have a great day.

Morning all
Still waiting for my get up and go to return.....must crack on today though as I want to spend tomorrow doing some ebay listings.
Need to clean out and scrub the parrots cage - clean the patio windows which are by his cage as he's managed to spread a kiwi fruit far and wide  . Going to wax all the wooden furniture and wash and polish the laminate floor, hoover all the sofas off and clean the mirror (keep forgetting to do it).
Need to give the house a good hoover through and wash the kitchen floor - swish and swipe in the bathroom and then spend the afternoon sorting my craft stuff - it's threatening to take over my bedroom.
On the way back from the school this morning someone had left a huge compost bin out for the rubbish with a note on saying free to a good home - it was so heavy though that I couldn't lift it all the way home....did knock on the door to see if they'd put it in the garage until DH got home but they'd all left for work  Never mind
Spicy beef soup tonight - from the freezer so I can spend the day "doing" rather than "cooking".

Morning all
Just a quick note before I dash to CAB, a second :coffee: on the go since I must be alert! Nothing worse than feeling dopey when people are asking all sorts of tricky questions. That's interesting about CAB though, you never know what people are going to ask...
After CAB, I need to sort out a pile for eBay and decide if I should do a tabletop sale as well. Is £7.50/table reasonable? That £7.50 will go to a local animal charity though. OK, OK now I must go....
Have a good day and I will check how everyone is doing later;) .SSB0 -
Morning folks :hello:
Last night I was convinced I was coming down with proper flu - I was all achy and my head felt fogged up - but thankfully after a good night's sleep I seem to be fine. (If I'm going to get flu I need it next week when I have finished doing the monthly task at work that (a) is most important and (b) nobody else knows how to do!)
catowen - great news about the catalogue debt. What an achievement!!
Managed to rearrange yesterday's singing lesson to 6:30pm from 7:00 which was great as it meant I was home by 8:30 and had time to make a batch of curried parsnip soup and catch up with a few TV shows I had taped over the last few days. One of these was Monday's edition of Crimewatch, as I knew in advance that the murder round the corner from me was going to be featured. I hope they catch the people who did it soon.
Today will not be OS at all as I am out all evening
Must go, yesterday was mad at work and I didn't have time to get half the normal stuff done - and just in case I am sickening for flu, I'd rather get my work sorted sooner rather than later.
Hope everybody is well

Morning! :hello:
Slow start here as I overdid it yesterday and ache all over (got carried away with the shopping at our local market!) We now have enough food to feed several armies!
Catowen - Well done on clearing that catalogue! :T
Moggins - Enjoy the facial, you deserve a bit of pampering!
Juliejim - I have just joined slimming world! Still struggling with syns, Healthy extras etc but hoping it will all become clearer soon! I have lost a bit of weight though over the last 2 weeks since I changed my shopping habits (Tesco rebel no 6)
Skystar - You are making me feel quite old as ds is a year older than you! We loved button moon as well! As for those shellsuits mine was a glorious bright blue, purple and pink one and I thought I looked great!:o :rotfl:
I am off to make a large chicken casserole (slimming world recipe) in the slow cooker using some of the many chicken thighs I bought yesterday!
Have a good day everyone!

Morning all, DP still in bed so going to have a quick read/post.
Catowen well done
DLB definately sounds like your luck is changingpass some this way please!
Today should be housework (want to do our room so having to wait until he's up to do that) then computer course, then governors meeting, then to my sisters. I really can't be bothered to go to the computer course, I am so tempted to give it a miss and go get my paint and have a look for a carpet instead. Will decide later, as if DP gets up in one of his moods again I'd rather go to computer course :rotfl:One day I might be more organised...........
