Unfortunately it's the cost for me these days. A 20 mile round trip plus tickets can add up quite quickly, especially if it's a 3D film! I'm not bad with taking my own sweets/drinks in if I have enough time to plan ahead.

It's a shame because I do really enjoy going to the cinema, but of late I've not been able to justify it often and only gone to see the films I really want to see.

For me it's usually because: -
    a) I saw the film years ago before they added "in widescreen", "digitally remastered" or "3D" on the end.

    2) I saw the film years ago before the remake, remade remake or the re-imagined version (see The Omega Man/I am legend, or The Time Machine, or Dawn of the Dead, or...)

iii) I'd rather wait for the DVD to watch in the comfort of my own home without mobile phones ringing or dinging and have the added bonus of perusing the DVD extras and commentaries afterwards.

I went to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D on Sunday.

I can cope with the kids going toilet all the time as that's understandable but it was when parents were blatently standing up blocking the view for long periods of time or the dad near me checking the footie scores whilst his kids watched the film.

You know what I get !!!!!! off about when I go to the cinema? People who insist on chatting during the film. Why on earth you pay good money to then sit and ruin it for others is beyond me?

As for people who insist on checking their Iphones mid showing...

I had a relatively good experience at cinema yesterday. The only downside, which can be annoying is when someone sits in other people's seats then an Usher has to come and well usher the other people out of their seats, just as the film's starting. Luckily yesterday it was just before the film started, so no interruptions. Good on the staff member to duck down when the last trailer ended though as he was waiting for the idiots to get their tickets to show him.

Its only for a short amount of time so could people not talk during the film/send a text on they're phone but even more annoying when the phones backlight is so bright it takes your eyes off the film.

The cost of the film, refreshments and their policies about not taking own food in ( I mean my own quiet in the handbag food and drink)

I have heard some horror stories about some people's behaviour too

You always get someone late who blocks the view as the film starts!

And I get the person behind kicking my seat:mad::mad::mad:

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.

I can't vote because my choices are missing!

[1] I can usually get the movie from internet anyway (often free :) )
[2] In case I want to visit the cinema, lack of free parking puts me off.

You can also get groceries for free form Tescos - it's called stealing.

    In this case it isn't.
Electronic Publications Act 2004 Section 5.

Can you provide a link to this please, googling Electronic Publications Act gives nothing useful.
