So I guess next step is to actually sue them in small claims and see if that gets me the money.
Not quite.
The next step is to issue your claim against them. See mcol website.
If they ignore it (or pay it) then you won't have to go to court, as you will be able to get a judgement against them online.
If they submit a defence you will then have to decide what your chances of winning are before escalating your claim to a court hearing.0 -
The contact I use for cpw cashback problems is:

Probably worth a quick email or phone call before you start legal proceedings (and if you do, she handles them anyway!).
She should be back from maternity leave by now.

That depends on if he knows what he's doing, has done it all correctly and can prove it (and on the wording of the LBA - if it was one).
CPW do respond to LBA's nowadays - more so than they used to.
If you HAVE done it properly, just sue. Don't waste time making phone calls and sending endless emails.
It's also possible that some emails addresses now don't work with the subsidiaries. In any case, there is NO WAY anyone should allow it to get this far. SUE long before the next claim is due - not make a collection of unpaid claims and then complain because they've ignored you!
Actually my conclusion is that they almost certainly haven't done a number of things correctly at various times - because if they had CPW WOULD have paid long ago. Maoning about government departments etc and how much it would cost to sue displays an ignorance of how this game is played and therefore the highly suitable weapons available to anyone playing it.0
