It will be less than half that time.0

I got a similar email after I contacted them on the website. No mention of why it was declined in the first place when the paperwork was correct.0

Are people using mobile.co.uk's online cashback-upload facility with success? I've never trusted their advice of emailing in the bills; always preferring to send in my claims by snailmail recorded delivery, but given that I've got plenty of time for my current claim, I thought I'd give it a whirl this week.
Uploaded the bill etc several days ago, but got nothing back in the way of acknowledgement, and the relevant box on my 'personalised' cashback page has never changed from "Action - Due now" against the relevant claim.
On the basis that I don't trust these people further than I can kick them, looks like it'll be another trip down the post office again...0 -

Why don't you try another upload (or 2, or 3 - it is easy as you know) to see if you do get an acknowledgement - and then go down the snail mail route if still unhappy.
I tend to both upload and email at same time, and like you leaving time to follow with snail mail if necessary.0 -
Yes - and have received prompt email confirming upload.
Why don't you try another upload (or 2, or 3
So I'm going with my original instinct and am off down the PO this morning!0 -
I uploaded a couple of times and emailed attachments to them as well because I did not get a positive acknowledgement(my cashback status did change but it did not say 'received' and became null instead). There was also a page with errors but I can't recall exactly what it was supposed to show.
Anyway I sent them a 2 or 3 enquiring emails which eventually produced an apologetic reply confirming the claim had got through. About a week later I also got a text saying the same thing.
Had this not worked I would have kept pestering them for another 3 or 4 weeks before taking up the last resort of snail mail.0 -
Hi, I have regularly claimed Cashback in the past but never from mobiles.co.uk. My welcome pack and confirmation email stated the 6th month after purchase bill should be submitted, which from their worked example was may (the email also stated may, so I was happy that both matched -phew). I sent this in recorded delivery but got no confirmation email, so I logged onto my account only to see on there it said April! I was one day over the 60 days by then, but sent the April bill anyway via email with an explanation about the contradicted dates, to which I have appeared to get a rejection email stating it was because I had sent in the 'may bill' and their advice of the months needed was one month earlier respectively than their original advice and website advice! I have also noticed the postal addresses for sending the Cashback claim differ between the website and email!
I have learned my lesson ready for the next claim, however am still in a muddle as to which bill I should send for the next claim, and indeed whether I am best to email or post (and to which address!).
Any help would be gratefully received, but please make it constructive as I have seen some quite unfriendly criticisms of people on here...we all make mistakes, so if you have friendly advice or tips to help me claim successfully then I'd love to hear it please. Thanks in advance :-)0 -
It's not too late. You can prove they specifically instructed you to send the wrong bill, so send a LBA stating that and sue if they don't pay.
You haven't done your research or followed the groundrules. It's standard operating procedure for CPW companies to not only mislead people as to which bills to send but to actually contradict that information between t&c on the website, emails, welcome packs AND on-line account dates. This is their NORM - so you need to go right back to basics and follow the t&c at the point of sale. Send the bills in the minute they are available and allow no uncertaintly to develop from their end.
Also, following much of the advice on here can also get you in trouble. Many people have successfully claimed in the past and prefer to think CPW are straightforward all of the time - they aren't, as you have found out.0 -
After a long stint of trouble free cashback claims from mobiles.co.uk, I'm being let down, not once, but twice recently.
My month 10 cashback of 3rd May 2013, has been accepted , but cheque hasn't arrived after 2 months.I spoke with a CS on 5th July(I have recorded the conversation) and she assured she's raising the cheque then and there, but still no sight.
She also told,my month 12 cashback uploaded via mobiles.co.uk account on 3/7/2013 hasn't been registered,so I uploaded again via account. No confirmation in 48 hours.
So I resubmitted via their email.Still no response.
Could any of the forum cashback wizards advice me please.0 -
Just read the thread?
Resubmitting by a recorded snail mail (if no confirmation) and a letter before action (if no cashback) normally do wonders.0
