    Disable wireless encryption on the router, then disconnect the Ethernet cable and see if you can connect wirelessly. If you can, enable encryption as per post 65. You could jump straight to the random 63 character key - save it in Notepad file so you can copy/paste it on the router screen and network key prompt.

    How do you disable wireless encryption?

    Thought that was what was meant but didn't want to take any chances. I have done that and I am still wired.

    I cannot get connected to the wireless network, take it I have to set up the wireless network again? I accidentally deleted 2 of them last night as there was 4 in total. :o :eek:

    Now do I delete the remaining two and set up a new one or what?

    I tried following post 65 but I was not asked for a password should I reboot laptop?
