OK, with all those files copied, go back to the guide in post 223 and see if the yellow icon in Device Manager has disappeared. If not, double-click it and post the device status as you did before.

http://www.beemerworld.com/tips/driversbug.htm - "Extract these files to both directories and reboot. Note: In Windows 98SE, the files are located in cabs 53 and 54."

Did you look in cabs53 and 54 for them? Double-click the cab filename to see what's inside. Not sure of the exact filenames, but cabs files should be obvious.

I did not find cabs53 and 54. I did a search for them and it brought nothing back either. The cd says Microsoft Windows 98.

I have installed the files I was supposed to, rebooted and the yellow exclamation mark is still there, what am I supposed to do now? Will I try uninstalling it again and then try reinstalling it?

Double-click the yellow exclamation and post what it says for device status.

Double-click the yellow exclamation and post what it says for device status.
When I put the routers cd into the old computer it is saying, no cable or router detected even though it is connected.
The NDIS.VXD, NTKERN.VXD device loader(s) for this device could not load the device driver. (Code 2)
To fix this, click Update Driver to update the device driver.
