Is there any where else I can get this apart from ebuyer?0 -
From Amazon - search for usb ethernet adapter for others.0

I think if I had the usb ethernet adapter and the network key their computers would be properly set up at last!! Is there anything else I am missing?0

Yes, it would, however earlier you said:
"Dads cubase will not install correctly on his new computer although he still wants to use it, therefore cubase is on the old computer. Although we purchased the ethernet port, it seems difficult to install because it came with a mini disc and we do not have mini disc facilities."
Didn't you sort out the mini disc problem, and therefore install the drivers for the Ethernet port (network card)? If so, I'm not sure why you need an Ethernet to USB adapter now because the Ethernet cable from the router will plug directly into the Ethernet port on the computer.0 -

We didn't install the Ethernet port as we were afraid that we would do something wrong therefore we need the adapter.0 -
What is the difference in a Gigabit Ethernet (CAT 6) Cable Blue with slim connector 10m and a 15m CAT5E / RJ45 NETWORK ETHERNET PATCH CABLE apart from one being 5m longer than the other?0
-
Nothing really. The Cat 6 cable is capable of faster speeds, where the equipment supports it, however both cables will work at the same speed (100 MBit/sec max) in a home network and either could be used.0

THANKS, I thought that the CAT 6 cable would be a more modern version of the CAT 5.0
