    Sorry for all the hassle but THANK YOU very much. I will uninstall both and then reinstall AVG.

    I uninstalled both and AVG would not install correctly for me as there was supposed to be a corrupt file. When I looked at the Windows security settings I got the following link, http://www.microsoft.com/uk/athome/security/update/windowsvistaav.mspx.

    What am I going to do now? I have deleted Norton!! :eek:

    It has downloaded this time!! :j I am running it at the mo and checking for viruses. How long does it normally take when this is the first time it has been run on the computer and is doing a full scan? :confused:

    I ran the anti virus on both computers and there was no viruses found on either computers. :j
